Donald "DJ" Wayne Siebert, Jr. , 32, of Mount Clare, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023. He was born on October 27, 1990 in Springfield, IL a son of the late Donald Wayne Siebert, Sr. and Toni Bitschenauer of Springfield, IL. In addition to his mother, DJ is survived by his wife of nine years, Toni Duke Siebert whom he married on July 22, 2014; one daughter, Kinsley Siebert at home; his sisters, Heather Mylle (Sonny) of Brookesville, Fl, Nikki Moran (Will) of Taylorville, IL, Jessie Brents (Bobby) of Springfield, IL, and Ali Aure (Chris) of Taylorville, IL; maternal grandparents, Ron and Mary Standish Bitschenauer, Springfield, IL; paternal grandmother, Mary Krupp Siebert, Montgomery, TX; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; with two sisters like nieces, AyRyan and Cheyenne as well as a brother like nephew, Kaelan. He was also adored by his in-laws, Tommy and Jackie Fornash of Clarksburg, and Stephen and Barbie Duke of Graham, NC; and his mam mam, Sharon Cain, Clarksburg. In addition to his father, DJ was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ron Siebert; niece, Kaylee Rynders. DJ was a 2009 graduate of Glenwood High School and proudly served his Country in the United States Navy for five years where he met his beloved wife Toni. DJ was employed with RDR Utility as a Project Manager. He enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with Kinsley and taking her to basketball practice. Every morning he and Kinsley had a singing contest on their way to school. He loved watching Miami Dolphins football with his best friend Toni. DJ loved movie nights with his wife and daughter. DJ loved to work on the farm, finding work when there wasn't any. DJ loved hunting season, he looked forward to it every year. Camping and wakeboarding were trips he looked forward to every summer. DJ was the backbone of his family and will be deeply missed by everyone especially wife Toni and daughter Kinsley. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301 for visitation on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 3:00-7:00PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 12:30 PM with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating. Brian Scott Large, 55, of Mount Clare, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Brian was born in West Palm Beach, FL, on June 10, 1967, a son of Carl Dewayne Large and the late Wilma Ann Moore. Forever cherishing their memories of Brian are his companion, Katrina Johnson of Mount Clare; three daughters: Abigail Ann Large, Gemma Pearl Large of Weston, and Areabella Self of Gilmer; Katrina's sons whom he loved as his own: Jared and Jacob Johnson; his father and step-mother: Carl and Sandy Large of West Palm Beach, FL; two brothers: Jeff Large and wife, Tracey, and Steven Large and wife, Emily; two nephews: Chase and Charles Large; and two nieces: Savannah and Ann Large. Brian graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School. Following graduation, Brian attended The University of Florida and obtained a degree in Microbiology. He enjoyed surfing, sailing, and traveling as he had a love for the ocean. In his free-time, Brian found delight in working on cars, especially his SAAB AND Volkswagen. He had a passion for science and sharing his knowledge with others. Brian had a huge heart and would give his last twenty dollars to a stranger in need. Most of all, he loved his family especially his children more than anything. Brian will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for him. In lieu of flowers, Brian's family has requested donations be made directly to the family to aid with future expenses. Howard William Dodd 78, of Mount Clare passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at his residence with family by his side. He was born on August 23, 1943 in Glen Falls, WV, son of the late Louis Paul and Pauline Blanch Pyle Dodd. Howard graduated from Victory High School, Class of 1961. He was a General Contractor owning his own company for many years. He enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits and vegetables he and his wife raised. Also his hobbies included bee keeping, woodworking, and spending time with his family; especially the grandchildren and his four legged companion, Bridgette. Howard is survived by his three sons, William "Brian" Dodd and Lorie, Marshall, VA, Kevin Allen Dodd and Janice, Winchester, VA, Shawn Ellery Dodd and Dona, Haymarket, VA; six grandchildren, Megan Dodd, Alyssa Dodd, Kyle Dodd, William Dodd, Joshua Dodd, and Erin Dodd; siblings, Mae Louise Smith and husband Frank, Shelbyville, IN, Deloris Mildred Paugh, Nutter Fort, Charles Edward Dodd, West Milford, Linda Larson, Kokomo, IN; Lavern Harman and husband Dorrell "D. G. ", Clarksburg; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Howard is preceded in death by his wife Sondra Joyce Barnes Dodd on October 15, 2021 and whom he married on July 21, 1963; one brother, Hubert Blaine Dodd; like a sister, Marcilee Maxwell. Richard "Dick" Lee Hopkins, 76 of Mount Clare, passed away on Monday February 14, 2022 at his residence with family by his side. He was born January 28, 1946 in Bolivar, NY, the son of the late Wallace Samuel and Fern Nancy Safford Hopkins. Dick is survived by his wife, Sharon Rose Barger Hopkins, whom he married on December 10, 1966 and recently celebrated fifty-five years of marriage; three children, Ronald Lynn Hopkins and wife Michelle, Westerville, OH, Brenda Lee Hinkle and companion, Gary McGlumphy, Mount Clare, Timothy James Hopkins and wife Tanya, Coatesville, PA; two grandchildren, Benjamin Gram Hinkle and Matthew Parker Hopkins; one brother, James Hopkins and Carol; one sister, Bernice Richardson and Charles; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Beverly Fetterolf, Carol Sozinski, Barbara Bush, Dawn Irvin, William Barger and Tanna, Gary Barger, Dennis Barger and Janet; numerous nieces and nephews; his beloved dog "Sammy" was his constant companion. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by siblings, Bertha VanCurren, Harriet Cayton, Joann "Jane" Lawton, Effie Hopkins, and Roy Hopkins; brother-in-law, James Barger. Dick graduated Olean High School, Class of 1964 and from Salem College with an associate degree in Industrial Technology. He was a Sergeant in the US Air Force from 1965-1969 serving one year in Vietnam. He retired as a supervisor from Mon Power in 2007 after thirty-eight and half years of service. From 1969-1972 he was with West Penn Power Co in Milesburg, PA. In 1972 he transferred to Mon Power in Haywood, WV until his time of retirement. He was a lifetime member of the Clarksburg VFW Post 573 where he served as Past Commander, Vice Commander and member of Harrison County Honor Guard. He was a long-time member of Church of Our Savior. Dick volunteered at the VA Hospital for several years until his health would no longer give him the privilege. He enjoyed annual hunting and fishing trips, playing golf with his sons, and spending time with his grandsons and family. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:30AM with Pastor Stan Jenkins officiating. Michelle Renae Shaw, 48 of Mount Clare passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born June 3, 1973 in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of Michael and Mary Dye Ball of Mount Clare. Michelle graduated from South Harrison High School, Class of 1991 and Salem University, Class of 2018. She was the Assistant Director of Nursing at Stonerise in Clarksburg. Michelle's life was her family especially the grandbabies. She loved her job, time with family, her Pittsburgh Steelers, music, and laughing. Her laugh was contagious and will be missed terribly. She loved helping people and was always willing to help anyone in need. She also enjoyed helping and watching her dad race, she even got in the driver's seat a few times. In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by her husband, Paul Junior Shaw II whom she married on September 28, 1996; four children, Rebecca Ann Shaw, Fairmont; Samantha Nichole Shaw, Wallace, Justin Michael Shaw and wife Bryanna, Mount Clare, Paul Junior Shaw III and fiance Elexais "Lexi" of Belington; five grandchildren, Trent Thomas Shaw, Michael Robert Shaw, Aliyah "Gracie" Shaw, Carolina Renae Shaw, and Rylee Mae Shaw; one sister, Lori Gregory and husband Billy, Mount Clare; mother-in-law, Betty Jo Arnett Shaw, Wallace; nephews, Gage Gregory and wife Haley, Logan Gregory; niece, Haven Gregory; great nephew Corbyn Gregory; great niece on the way, Elly; her fur baby, Bailey; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
