South Paris- David L. Harrington, 86, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Maine Veterans Home in South Paris with his loving family by his side. He was born on March 19, 1937 in Pejepscot, a son of Richard and Nancy J. (Baker) Harrington.After high school David went on to the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country. After the military David worked in construction as a mason and roofer.He was an avid hunter and loved to spend time outside, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Nancy Harrington; grandson Peter Harrington; and three wives Elsie, Jennie and Mary Ann.He is survived by his loving children Robert Robinson, Brenda Harrington Fryslie, David Harrington, Jr. and William Harrington; grandchildren Tanya Spencer, Robert Robinson, Jr., Garry Spencer and Daniel Wilson; great grandchildren Nikita Spencer, Hunter Robinson, Jacob Spencer and Patrick Wright.At his request there will be no services. Norway – Georgia M. Cram, 67, of South Paris passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Stephens Memorial Hospital surrounded by her mother and daughter. She was born in Lewiston on June 1, 1956, the daughter of George and Helen Millett McKay. She graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1975 and married the love of her life Terry Cram on October 25, 1975. She had worked at Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation for 34 years, spending the majority of that time as the Activities Director. She enjoyed family vacations and road trips with Terry, their favorite places were Nashville and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed planning parties and fun events for everyone. She also enjoyed cooking, musical shows and the Oxford Casino.Georgia is survived by her daughter Alicia Cram of South Paris and her significant other Brian Cabral; mother Helen McKay of South Paris; sister Pamela and husband Gene Rich of Florida; nieces and nephews Amy and Troy Fox of Norway and Adam and Leanne Cram of Oxford; grandnephews Alex and Austin Fox of Norway and Connor Cram of Oxford and many special friends.She was predeceased by her husband Terry Cram; father George McKay; sister Lisa McKay; and aunts Dorothy Yates and Evelyn Jean McKay.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 5 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Homes, 45 Main Street, South Paris. Louise (Bryant) Foster. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend. Nancy was predeceased by her sister Deborah Foster-Cantelo and her brother Sonny Foster. She is survived by her daughter Kelsey Lewis and her husband Greg, her granddaughters Eva and Elle, her niece Jessica Lachance and her wife Angele, her nephew Ernie Child and his wife Billiejoe, her sister Sandra Dean and 5 other nieces and nephews. South Paris - Roger J. Fortier, Sr. , 90, a resident of Jay, passed away Tuesday, December 12th at Market Square Nursing Home in South Paris. He was born November 23, 1933, in Jay, the son of Adelbert Fortier and Alice (Beaudette) Fortier. He was a 1952 graduate of Jay High School. He proudly served in the U. S. Army from 1954-1956 during the Korean Conflict. On June 23, 1956, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, he married Lois E. Richards. He worked as a carpenter with his father for many years, building and repairing many homes in the area. He started working as a millwright at the International Paper, Otis Mill in Jay in 1965 and retired in 1996. He served as President for UPIU and was the 1st President of the Andy Valley Riders Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed NASCAR, following drivers Dale Earnhardt and Tony Stewart, woodworking, camping, playing guitar and singing old country songs, and especially time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife Lois Fortier of Jay, three daughters, Deborah Collins and husband Robert of Lewiston, Barbara Fortier and Linda Fournier of Jay, Mary Fortier of Augusta, four sons, Steven Fortier and wife Alesia of Athens, GA. , Barry Fortier and partner Dianna Poulin of Jay, Larry Fortier of Jay, and Roger "Sonny" Fortier, Jr. of Hartford, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, his sisters, Connie Pinette of Auburn, Florence LaBrecque of Lewiston and Rosemarie LeVasseur of Lewiston, brothers, Romeo Fortier and wife Annette of Jay, and Paul Fortier of East Livermore. He was predeceased by his parents, granddaughter, Katelynn Collins, and sisters, Julie Bubier, Eloise Vachon and Irene LaBranche. While in the Army Phil traveled to many places, he was fond of his time in Germany. Phil was a disabled Army veteran. Phil enjoyed cooking, music, playing the guitar, playing bingo on Monday and Thursday night, visits to the casino. He enjoyed his daily visits to Market Square restaurant for his daily coffee at the bar at 5 AM. Phil enjoyed long drives and shopping trips with his mother and aunt. His kindness was unmatched as he was always willing to give a helping hand or a ride to anyone no matter their situation. Phil never had a judgmental bone in his body. He is so loved and missed by the many people he touched. Philip is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Emily Butler and Benjamin Butler, his father, William Barker, Sr, and his biological father Ernest Rousselle.
