"Bart Johnson was called home to his Lord and Savior to rejoice with family and friends in the Kingdom of Heaven. He was born to Roy and the late Fredia Johnson in Houston, TX. He graduated high school from Mayde Creek in 1995. He met Shannon in 2000 and on March 9 2007, they were married. Later that year they were blessed with their first child Shelby and again blessed in 2011 with their second child Kelton. With a daughter and a son their family was complete. Bart enjoyed life to the fullest, with never a dull moment. He always worked hard though. He spent more than ten years working as a Millwright but missed his short time as a truck driver. When he switched back to truck driving he longed to be an owner operator. He always dreamed big. He loved having the opportunity to see the countryside, always sending pictures to us. And when things got too serious he would tell a joke or a funny story and everyone would laugh. He had the biggest smile and only wanted others to smile too. He had a huge heart of gold, would give you the shirt off his back! He was always there to help a friend in need. But most of all, Bart loved fishing, hunting, and doing anything that meant spending time with family and friends. He loved his family deeply and it always showed. Bart is survived by his wife, Shannon Johnson, daughter Shelby Johnson, son Kelton Johnson, father Roy Johnson, sister Dawn Johnson and her husband Robert Sarmiento, brother in law Dale Ward, nephews Robert Ward and Andy Sarmiento, and a host of relatives and friends. The Addison family and staff of Magnolia Funeral Home extend condolences to Bart\u0027s family and friends during this difficult time. "Show more
