Debbie earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Robert Morris University while working fulltime. She had a fulfilling and rewarding career working at various financial institutions including PNC, KPMG BNY Mellon, Federal Reserve Bank, Capitol One and finally TriState Capitol where she held the position of SVP, Anti Money Laundering Officer. Debbie also served on the board of her local Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) chapter. Determination, drive, and integrity guided her career advancement. Her leadership and grace inspired her team members, colleagues, mentees, friends, and her many nieces & nephews who looked up to her as a role model.
Debbie met Rob in high school. They were more than husband and wife. They were truly best friends. They welcomed everyone into their home with food, music and friendship, especially during the holidays. Together they built a wonderful family, raising three amazing young men who are the light of their life and the source of their purpose. Debbie loved her boys fiercely, embraced them with compassion, and was their strongest advocate. She will continue to embrace them from heaven.
Debbie was beautiful inside and out, a free spirit of calm, stability, ease, and confidence. She was an extremely accomplished mom, work professional, amazing home remodeler, and an adventurer. She loved life. Her caring nature was a bright light to everyone. She cherished time with family and friends on the slopes and at the beach. Debbie courageously fought throughout her battle with cancer. In her suffering, she grew closer to God. When He was ready to call her home, her husband and sons held her in an everlasting embrace, exactly as she needed.
