Donald J. DeBenedictis, 84, of Manchester, beloved husband of June DeBenedictis, married December 3, 1988, passed away April 20, 2023 due to natural causes. He was born to Victor DeBenedictis and Gertrude (Priskorn) DeBenedictis on August 22, 1938. Donald was employed at Wonder Bread for 37 years. He was a member of the Connecticut Air National Guard and a parishioner of St. James Catholic Church in Manchester. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed watching the NY Yankees playing baseball, traveling, classic cars, Coca Cola, golf, and Doo - wap. He will forever be remembered for the love he showed to his family and lifelong friends. In addition to his wife June DeBenedictis of 34 years, Don is survived by his children, daughter Monica and husband Dean Spacht, of Enfield, Connecticut, daughter Victoria Baker of Enfield, Connecticut, son Stephen DeBenedictis and husband Valentino DiMichele of North Haven, Connecticut, daughter Deanna Keith of Clearwater Florida, and stepdaughter Rebecca Krukoski and husband Joe Albright of Copperas Cove, Texas. Also left are his beloved grandchildren, Kevin and wife Crystal Buckley, David and wife Sherri Spacht, Evan Spacht, Samantha Grassette, Chance Wilbanks, Nicholas Wilbanks USMC, Jared Gouvin, Andrew Keith, Jaylynn Rodriguez, Ashley and husband Ryan Faustino US Army, Austin and wife Patrice Krukoski US Army, Autumn Krukoski, Aaron Krukoski, and Adain Krukoski. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Mya Morin, Audriana, Magnolia, and Sylis Buckley, Sophia and Jocelyn Faustino, and Judah and Leo Spacht; brother in-law John and wife Barbra Newman, sister in-law Cheryl and husband Dan Cunha, and brother in-law George Newman. Friends and relatives are welcome to join the family for visitation on April 26, 2023 beginning at 9:30 am at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St, Manchester Connecticut, followed by Mass at St. James Catholic Church, 896 Main St, Manchester Connecticut at 11:00.
