DILLON Donald Lynn Braswell, 56, died Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p. m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p. m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home. Born in Dillon, SC, June 26, 1966, he was the son of the late Joseph Glenn Braswell and Pearlie Mae Altman Braswell. He was employed by Dillon Wood Works. Survivors include his estranged wife, Brandi Braswell of Clio; fiance', Ann Jones of Dillon; children, Melinda Braswell, D. J. Braswell, and Hayden Braswell; 4 grandchildren, Jordan Jacobs, Dylan Norton, Jaxson Norton, and Greyson Norton; sister, Becky Braswell Cederleaf; brother, Buster Causey, Jr. ; numerous nieces and nephews, including Stephanie Gardner, Nina Chapman, Allen Gardner, and Amanda Gardner. Mr. Braswell was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Glenn Braswell and Pearlie Mae Altman Braswell; and his brother, Glen Braswell.
