Timothy R. Massie, age 60, of Lebanon, Virginia passed away Tuesday (April 23, 2019) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born July 31,1958 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of Henry S. Massie and Mavis Hubbard Wingler of Swords Creek, Virginia. He was an avid toy and comic book collector. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Thelma Massie of Bealeton, Virginia; daughters, Brianna Hess and husband, Richard of Hyden, Kentucky, Lyndsey Massie of Lebanon, Virginia; step-son, Brandon Peck of Honaker, Virginia; sister, Teresa Massie and companion, Mike Weir of Swords Creek, Virginia; nieces, Bethnany Weir and Shauna Peck of Honaker, Virginia; several cousins and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Honaker Funeral Home at 10 AM Friday followed by a committal service at Russell Memorial Cemetery. A funeral procession to Russell Memorial Cemetery will depart from the funeral home at 11 AM Friday.
