Dolores Milano Obituary

Dolores Milano passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on May 1, 2023 at her home in Saratoga Springs, NY. Dolores was a long-term resident of Schenectady and was born to Giuseppe DiCamillo and Carmela Sparapani DiCamillo on November 9, 1927. Dolores married the love of her life, Anthony Milano in 1953 and had four wonderful children they raised together. She was an administrator for Mildred's Chowder House in Cape Code for many years. Dolores enjoyed bowling, knitting and sewing. Dolores is survived by sons, David Milano (Barbara) of Castleton, Jon Milano (Jean Sullivan) of Saratoga Springs; daughter, Sandra Milano of Cape Cod, MA. Dolores was a proud grandmother to Danielle Fitzgerald (Derick), Nicholas Colangelo and his fiance Kasey Brothers, great-grandchildren, Hunter Fitzgerald, Chase Fitzgerald, and Mia Colangelo. She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Milano Colangelo; sisters, Irene Constantine, Nelda Welch; brothers, Gino, Anthony, and Aldo. Calling hours will be held from 10 am - 11:30 am on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave, Saratoga Springs, New York. A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205 following the calling hours at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dolores can be made to Saratoga Community Hospice, 179 Lawrence St, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
