Dianne M. "Dee" Potenti, 70, of Largo, FL passed away peacefully on October 4, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with cancer. Her loving partner & soul mate of 50 years, James Potenti, predeceased her in 2015 after also battling cancer. She leaves her three boys whom she loved & adored; Her oldest, Marc, her middle son Joel, also known as Jay & her youngest, whom she referred to as her baby to this day; Scotti Potenti, all of Largo, FL. She leaves a sister, Linda McCreery of CA. She was the beloved grandmother/nana to 7 grandchildren; Zach White, Anthony, Alyssa, Gina, Liyah, Marc Jr. & Anthony "AJ" Potenti. She also leaves 2 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews & cousins. She was predeceased by her son Shawn Potenti. Dianne was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Raymond & Rose Fontaine and lived here until her high school sweetheart, Jimmy passed away in 2015 to move to Florida, where she found her love for the beach. She was a graduate of North High School & went on to beauty school and to work at her mothers beauty salon; Petite Salon in Grafton Hill. She had many hobbies & later went on to work for VacationFundraising where she took joy in helping others in need. She was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of Our Lady of Loretto Church where she took pride in assisting the raffle booth for the Italian Festival every year. She made many friends in FL & friends everywhere she went. She lit up every room. If she wasn't home, you knew you could find her on the beach where she spent a lot of her time. Her beautiful smile and charming spirit will be remembered by all of whom had the pleasure & joy of knowing her. She was one of kind & will leave voids in the hearts of many. At Dee's wishes, she was able to attend her celebration of life in Largo, FL and there will be no additional services at this time.
