Derek Thomas Czmut, 48, of Mason, NH, passed away suddenly due to complications of heart problems, at his home surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, January 31, 2019. He was born on September 14, 1970, in Boston, MA, the son of Walter J. Czmut Jr and Karen E. Brooks. Derek had owned his own business DTC Crosswire for a number of years. He and his loving wife Jennifer (DuPont) Czmut were married on July 9, 1999. He absolutely adored his English Mastiff puppy, Roscoe. Derek enjoyed time with family, traveling with his wife and daughters. He had just gotten back from a trip to Jamaica this past December. His daughters were his world. He had spent most of his life with his kids, spending time just floating around in their pool. Derek was a very involved and devoted father and husband. He was an amazing cook. He had also had many friends who he would throw bon fires for in his backyard, him and his wife were well known for their bonfires. Derek is survived by his wife, Jennifer Czmut, of Mason,NH. His three daughters; Amanda Lauren Czmut, Emily Marie Czmut and Sarah Anne Czmut, of Mason, NH. His parents; Walter J. Czmut Jr, of Watertown, MA, and his mother Karen Brooks, of Naples, FL. He is predeceased by his dear brother, Walter J. Czmut III.
