On September 1 st , 2023, we lost an incredibly special man. Our Patriarch, Dennis Ronald Weisspassed away peacefully at home. In his eighty-seven years here on earth, he made a profoundimpact on all of those that he touched, especially those of us who were blessed to be his family. His strength, dedication, integrity, and wisdom will be sorely missed, but never forgotten by allhis children, Donna, Danny, Eric, Ronny, Tommy, Dennis and their spouses Rick, Barbara,Jordan, and Julie. His legacy will be sustained by his twenty grandchildren and thirteen greatgrandchildren. He is now free to go home to our Lord's heavenly kingdom to reunite with hiswife, our mother, Janice, and his Granddaughter Sarah. Our Father (Pops, Papa) was passionate about his family, never wavering when we needed hisrock steady, thoughtful, and understanding guidance. His second passion was for the game ofhockey. He devoted many of his years teaching hundreds of children the game. As he did in us,he instilled the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and a will to win in all of those hecoached. Dad taught us to think with our minds and work with our hands. He was a trained tooland die maker at Fisher Body when cars were real cars. To ensure that his family was well takencare of when the plants shut down for model "turn-around", he became a skilled, well-respected builder, and always took time to enlist his building team (Weiss and Sons) to help andteach us the trade. Safe travels home Big D. We will find solace in knowing that you will soon be sharing a dancewith Mom. Put her on the back of your Harley and take a ride so you two can feel the wind inyour hair, and the bugs in your teeth again. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
