Mr. Dennis J. Kendrick, age 71, of Wiggins, passed away September 8, 2023, in Picayune. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Wiggins and was a Postmaster for the U. S. Postal Service for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orell and Bernice (Garner) Kendrick; siblings, Kenneth Kendrick, Keith Kendrick, Gary Kendrick, Barbara Cortese and Karen Dedeaux. Mr. Kendrick loved serving his community as Alderman, community service such as bush hogging people property, love to grow a garden just to give it away, loved fishing. Dennis loved auctions and spending time with his buddies, Leon Sharp and David Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Kendrick of Wiggins; stepsons, Butch Smith (Dawn) of Lumberton, Lee Taylor of Corpus Christi, Texas; stepdaughter, Trina Smith of Montana; Eight step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren; brother, David Kendrick (Lori) of Gulfport; sister, Betty Sellers (Nolan) of Wiggins. Services will be 3:00 p. m. , Monday, September 11, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Wiggins with burial to follow in Wiggins City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p. m. until 3:00 p. m. , Monday, September 11, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Wiggins. Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral Services for Lowell Elliott Webb, age 86, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Rev. Beth Rolfs will officiate the service. Born at his grandmother's house in Bloomer, Wisconsin, he attended Kindergarten through 8th grade at the Mile Corner one-room schoolhouse, followed by Bloomer High School where he graduated in 1954. Afterward, he attended Northwest Prep School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Lowell then attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland from 1956 - 1960, and later attended post graduate school in Monterrey, California from 1964 - 1966. During his time with the United States Navy, he proudly served on the U. S. S. Weeks, the U. S. S. Boxer, and the U. S. S. John F. Kennedy. Lowell served in the Vietnam War from 1966 - 1967, where he spent time in the Mekong Delta, patrolling the river on PBR boats. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for the Naval Oceanographic Office at Stennis Space Center. During the early 1980's, Lowell taught Chemistry and Physics at Picayune Memorial High School. He later returned to civil service with the Naval Oceanographic Office, where he retired at the age of 82 in 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Willard Webb and Norma Josephine Lane Webb. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Sandra Alice DiStefano Webb; his son, Christopher Robert Webb; his daughters, Michelle (Paul) Lane Webb Berdux and Andrea (Brian) Louis Webb Saffle; his 7 grandchildren, Anthony Webb, Meghan Webb, Quinn Webb Davis, Coleen Webb Driggers, Elliot Webb, Emily Saffle, and Lexie Saffle; his 4 great grandchildren, Adelai Davis, Isaiah Davis, Jordyn Webb, and Wallace Webb; his brothers, Layne Dix Webb and Bruce Colin Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Louis Dempsey Lee, Sr. , age 87, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, will be held Monday, November 27, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Lee's Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, November 27, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Lee's Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lee's Chapel #2 Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of the Leetown Community, he was a devoted Christian and a member of Lee's Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church. Dempsey was a business owner, farmer, and HVAC Supervisor at Stennis Space Center. He was known as a strong Christian man, who was very active in his church. Dempsey was strongly supported by his loving wife of 62 years, Nell Lee. He is leaving behind a legacy for his children and grandchildren, demonstrated by his love for God and people, and that nothing can be accomplished unless you're willing to go the extra mile. In unending support for his family, Dempsey worked two jobs for his entire career. His hobbies included fishing, listening to ministers on radio and television, and watching sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphus Joshua Lee and Willie Mae Stockstill Lee, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nell Iris Lee Lee; his sons, Louis Dempsey Lee, Jr. and Rico (Trudy) Alphus Lee; his daughter, Joye (Dennis) Nell Lee McNelis; his 3 grandchildren, Whitney McNelis Wilkinson, Connor Lee McNelis, and Asa Lee; his 2 great grandchildren, Emma Grace Wilkinson and Caroline Lee Wilkinson; his sister, Susie Ree Lee; and his 2 nephews, Terry (Alice) Lee and Jeff (Grace) Lee.
