Obituary of Dennis Carroll It is with extreme sadness that the family of Dennis J (Denny) Carroll,"Papa", announce his sudden passing on Friday, February 15th, 2019 at the age of 66. He leaves behind a wife (Becky), four children (Ben, Mandy, Brent, and Billie), and 4 grandchildren (Grace, Riley, Gillian and Bryce). Denny was born and raised in Dubuque, IA and lived every day to the fullest. He was an avid outdoors man and loved hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and water & professional snow skiing. His commitment to family and friends was above any expectations. Denny's smile was contagious and loved to make others laugh, which came naturally for him. He always put his family first, raising two kids and loyal to four grandchildren. Denny lived for adventure. Roller coasters, road trips, mountains, and the oceans were never too big or too fast. He may have been on the sidelines of a soccer game or holding flowers at a dance recital but his larger than life personality was always felt. His big bear hugs will be missed. Denny was a faithful member of his church and truly embraced a relationship with God through volunteering, giving and participating in several pilgrimages. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Peace Presbyterian Church, 174 Londonderry Rd. Goose Creek, SC 29445. A visitation will be held from 5pm - 6pm and a memorial service will follow from 6pm - 7pm.
