"Ms. Janice Katherine Bradley Marsh, 74, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at MUSC-Lancaster. She was born January 3, 1950 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Ira Bradley and Reba Munn Bradley. Ms. Marsh was a member of Glenwood Heights Baptist Church. She loved to travel, listen to live music, and solve puzzle books. Ms. Marsh also loved her family very much. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Marsh will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald W. Tillman officiating. Ms. Marsh is survived by two sons, Paul Bradley and his wife, Caron of San Antonio, TX, and Tony Marsh of Lancaster; a daughter, Mary Marsh Jenkins and her husband Mike of Lancaster; one sister, Freda Hopkins of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Brittany Bradley, Kaitlin Bradley, Brandon Bradley, Cody Bradley, Destiny Oliver, Johanna Oliver and Cora Bradley; One great grandson, Jaxson Ferrill; and her best friends, Sally Estridge and Kimberly Hinson. In addition to her parents, Ms. Marsh is predeceased by a son, Eugene Bradley; three brothers, Joe Bradley, Keith Bradley and Kenneth Bradley; a sister, Judith Bradley; and a brother-in-law, Donny Hopkins. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 at Lancaster Funeral Home. "Mr. Larry Preston Lear, 80, of Lancaster passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at MUSC-Lancaster. He was born January 3, 1944 in Ruby, SC, a son of the late J C Lear and Mary Jordan Lear. Mr. Lear was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Antioch Masonic Lodge. He loved fast cars and loved working on them. Mr. Lear enjoyed going on vacation to the beach and mountains and going out to Jack’s to spend time with the retirees. Mr. Lear is survived by two sons, Marty Thomas Lear and his wife Kendra of Lancaster and Jeffrey Lear and his wife Debra of Warner Robbins, GA; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Heather. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Kathryn Truesdale Lear; a daughter, Julie Lear; two brothers, Perry Lear and Harold Lear; and a sister, Linda Rollings. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Waxhaw, NC by her son, Pastor Al Brigman. The family will greet friends following the service Tuesday, at the church. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Brigman was born November 9, 1931 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Harley and Minnie Huggins Johnson. Mrs. Eva was a lady who loved her friends, family, and the Lord. She was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church and you could always count on her being in attendance anytime the doors were open. Mrs. Brigman’s faith went beyond being a church member as she devoted much of her time to praying and reading the scriptures. Eva was a blessing to anyone fortunate enough to call her “friend”. Eva would often visit shut-ins and she would bring them her homemade baked goods such as cakes or her famous biscuits. Mrs. Brigman had a great sense of humor and you knew if she picked with you, she liked you. Eva also enjoyed board games, crosswords, and jigsaw puzzles. One of her favorite activities was reading on the beach when her family went on vacations. Of all the things that Eva will be remembered for her greatest legacy is that she was an excellent mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Brigman was the epitome of a virtuous woman in the way that she loved, sacrificed for, and cared for her family.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brigman was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Allen H. Brigman, Sr.; siblings, Charles Johnson, Aletha Moore, and George Johnson.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-“love”, Pastor Al and Melissa Brigman of the home; grandchildren, Morgan (Pastor Reid) McAsteer of Lancaster, SC, Zachary Brigman of Lancaster, SC, Dakota (Mackenzie) Brigman of Lancaster, SC; great-grandchildren, Rhett McAsteer, Hayden McAsteer, Evelyn June Brigman, and one on the way; siblings, Olin Johnson of Hartsville, SC, Sadie (Al) Rudelick of Myrtle Beach, SC, Linda (Sandy) Taylor of Ruby, SC, Janice (Pastor Gerald) Rivers of Chesterfield, SC; sister-in-law, Carol Johnson of Chesterfield, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; and her Immanuel Baptist Church family.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 9112 Lancaster Hwy, Waxhaw, NC 28173.Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (www.mrcfuneralhome.com) of Chesterfield, SC is serving the Brigman family.

Mrs. Phillips was an accomplished musician who played the piano and organ at New Hope Baptist Church for 47 years. She was a social worker and retired from the SC Department of Social Services. Mrs. Phillips loved gardening and admiring her flowers. She also loved her children and grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Phillips will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Wright officiating. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her son, James David Phillips and his wife Amanda of Lancaster; her daughter, Missy Tooley and her husband Dennis of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Matthew White (Heather), Thaddeus Sherwood (Courtney), Aaron Phillips (Emily), Arielle Thomas Silk, Bailey Wilson, and Genna Turer; and two great grandchildren. Johnny L. Clark, Jr., age 78, of Pageland, SC, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024 in Lancaster, SC. He was born on December 8, 1945 to the late Johnny L. Clark, Sr. and Grace Sellars Clark and is predeceased by his great grandson, Mika Foster Todd. Johnny was proud of his country and served in the US Marines. He was a man whose zest for life was as evident as the roar of the engines he adored. Johnny's passion for vintage automobiles and tractors was more than a hobby, especially working on them. His love for riding motorcycles was matched only by the freedom he felt with the wind against his face. He was a large supporter of the local AA Chapter in Pageland, SC and he would help anyone in need. Most of all, Johnny was a loving grandfather.He is survived by his ex-wife, Carolyn Clark of Pageland, SC; daughter, Johnnie Elizabeth Todd of Lakeland, FL; brother, Roy Clark (Carol) of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Tiffney Todd of Lakeland, FL, Elizabeth Todd of Conway, SC, Justin Todd of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jonathan Todd of Conway, SC; nine great grandchildren; step-children,Micheal Laney (Jenny) of Ridgeland, SC and Scott Laney (Amy) of Camden, SC;  step-grandsons, Neal Bostian and Timmy Bostian both of Ridgeland, SC and one special step granddaughter, Gracie Anne Laney of Camden, SC.   Private Cremation arrangements as per family request.
