Deacon Russell Obituary

| | Deacon Russell was born March 30th, 2007. He is the son of Tommy and Cathy Russell of Fredericksburg, TX. Deacon passed away April 18th, 2023. A private funeral service will be held for Deacon's close family. A large celebration of life will be held at a later date for all those who knew and loved Deacon. Deacon always lit up the room with his bright smile, one dimple, and long eye lashes. He was an incredible athlete that had big dreams of pitching in the big leagues. Deacon loved shoes, clothes, and music. He was an honors student who after his baseball career wanted to work as a physical therapist. He had such a big heart and was always making those around him laugh. Deacon had a way of making people feel special when he was with them, but he was also always up for a competition. There was nothing that he wasn't ready to win. . . or try his hardest to win. Deacon was a sophomore at Fredericksburg High School. He played football, basketball, and baseball. Deacon loved to play video games and just spend time with his friends. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make any donations in memory of Deacon Russell to Fredericksburg Counseling which is a ministry of Fredericksburg Church. This is a new nonprofit counseling center that will provide services to the Fredericksburg area.
