Dawn R. "Rikki" Neil Sweetie, 52, of Joffre, Smith Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2023, in her home. Dawn was born on May 1, 1971, in McKees Rocks, a daughter of Leslie Doehre Neil and the late Don Neil. Dawn was an all-around spectacular person. There was nothing that she could not do. Through her life, Dawn faced many obstacles and the loss of a family member was one that seemed to happen the most. Through every trial of life, Dawn gained her balance and took a step in a new and better direction. She moved through life with such grace and compassion for others. She had a giving heart, always worrying about others before herself. A prime example of that would be her relationship with her granddaughter, Kinsley. Those two were two peas in a pod. Where Grandma Rikki went, Kinsley was soon to follow close behind. The two loved to garden together in their "Grandma and Me" garden at Dawn's home. They filled their garden with beautiful flowers that always brightened both of their smiles. Dawns biggest smile was always found when all of her girls were together. Having her two daughters and granddaughter with her was her biggest blessing in life. Dawns heart was so full of love for the three of them and everyone that she welcomed through her door. Creation was something that gave Dawn joy. She loved working with her hands and her mind to find a new purpose for some old cloth or scraps laying around. She was certainly crafty, whether she finished said craft or not, now that's a different story. Dawn enjoyed sewing, painting and decorating. She loved making her home a home. She took great pride in hosting and welcoming others into her home. As soon as you stepped foot inside you could feel the love and peace that Dawn shared. Her love for life evident, especially when you would see her riding down the street on the back of a motorcycle and her face beaming with joy. Her beautiful soul will truly be missed. But if there is one thing that Dawn would want. It would be for everyone to get up and never give up on life. Along with her mother, surviving are her daughters, Aliza and Andrea Donaldson, her mini best friend and granddaughter, Kinsley Call, father of her children and caretaker, James Donaldson, sisters, Stacy Svihila Brantley and Brandy Neil, niece, Harley Svihila and nephew, Dillon Svihila. Along with her father, Dawn is preceded in death by her son Zackary Neil and husband, Michael Joseph Sweetie Sr. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p. m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. , 314 W. Lincoln Ave. , McDonald (724-926-2800). A Service will be held following the viewing at 8 p. m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lily's Pad Rescue 74 Silver Shores Drive, Silver Lake, WA, 98645, in honor of Dawn.

He worked for Charlie Brown's Airport Parking, where he was the manager for many years. He was extremely proud of his family business and he was dedicated to not only his customers, but employees as well. Scotty knew each and everyone of his customers by name, their families, and what cars they owned. He loved catching up with all his customers and hearing about their travels, and life since he last seen them. When Scotty was not wrapped up in work, his weekends were never relaxing. If he didn't have the hose & tire shine out making sure his truck was shiny and sparkly - he was spending all his free time with Sandy & his dog Henry. When it came to Henry, he enjoyed taking him for truck rides and giving this little guy all the attention. Scotty and Sandy spent the last 25 years together and every day was filled with a new adventure. They created a life both of them always dreamed of. Not every day was perfect, but it was perfect for them. Family was always important to both of them, but their Grandchildren meant the world. Scotty was the most devoted STP (Grandfather). He had the honor of walking his oldest #1 granddaughter down the aisle and giving her away in marriage to her best friend, Chris. Scotty & Sandy loved traveling - Aruba was their second home. In addition to family & traveling, Scotty had a passion for golfing. Many years ago, he would spend his weekdays golfing with his Oakdale buddies. Scotty had a spunky personality that was full of life. Fitting his personality, he loved shooting off fireworks for his family and friends. He was the most genuine and caring person that you would ever meet. He treated everyone as if they were family and welcomed every stranger through the door. There is so much that will be missed about Scotty, but the world is truly a better place for having Scotty in it. Hallie was born on January 30, 1940, in Maryland, a daughter of the late Porter Edwards and Jane Edwards Sutton and step-father, Charles Sutton. Hallie worked as a buyer for U. S. Air for 35 years. Her meticulous and organized nature lead her to being very successful in her work. She enjoyed her years there and all the knowledge she was able to gain. Hallie enjoyed traveling after her retirement. She and her wife loved to travel to the outdoors and spend time camping together. They also enjoyed traveling to the beach, where Hallie would lay in the sand all day. Another passion of Hallie's was traveling with her softball team, the Pittsburgh Diamonds, where she played first base. As active as Hallie was, this was her favorite past time. Running the bases and playing the game she loved so much was truly her perfect day. Hallie was lucky enough to spend a wonderful 44 years, with the love of her life, Sandra, who survives. Hallie never missed a chance to spend time with the people she loved. In her later years Hallie and her wife began traveling with the Muenster family catering company, Kitchen Magician. Hallie's helping hand was a big blessing to the Muenster family. She was always the most kind, gentle and loving person to their entire family and to everyone she ever met.
