David Ross Williamson, age 91, of Crowley, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. A visitation for David will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 100 SW Alsbury Blvd, Burleson, Texas. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas.

Freeda Joyce Brown Coleman, 86, of Crowley Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday Nov. 24, 2023. She was born Jan. 29, 1937 in Pawnee, TX to Richard and Pearl Brown. Joyce was a devoted wife and mother. She followed Everett in all of his endeavors without any opposition. She was the church secretary at First Assembly of God Church in Three Rivers Texas for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved sitting outside and listening to the wind chimes and looking at her flowers blooming. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family as well. Joyce is survived by her sons John (Lilly) Wilson and Tommy (Kristi), 15 grandchildren: Doug, Brittany (Dustin), Justin, Anita, Caitlyn (Michael), Savannah, Lauren, Nikki (Alan), Shelbi (James), McKenna, Darbi, Billy, Bristyn, Charli, and Tucker. 20 great grandchildren: Aidyn, Blakley, Bentley, Piper, Loxley, Gunner, Remi, Huxley, Eli, Malachi, Sadie, Levi, Asher, Elsie, Asa, Andi, Matti, Jax, Kodi, Cayden, and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends. She is also survived by her siblings Kenneth (Trish) Brown and Raymond (Janice) Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Everett Ray Coleman, grandchildren Anita and Doug and her brother and sister in law Marvin and Delpha Brown. JOHNSTON OHIO- Donald Lee "Tub" Owen, age 89, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Gillette Nursing Home surrounded by family after a short illness. Born November 11, 1933, in Greene, Ohio, he was the last surviving son of the late Elmer Levi Owen and Evea Bell Tomlinson. Formerly of Gustavus, Donald graduated from Gustavus High School in 1951. On July 19, 1952, he married his beloved wife, Elvira May Williams. At the time of her passing in 2022, they had been married for 70 years. Donald was a farmer and semi-truck driver for most of his life and in his spare time, he enjoyed being active in 4-H, riding bikes and mowing yards. Donald and Elvira spent several years in Citrus Springs, Florida before returning to Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elvira M. Owen; 14 siblings, Alva Owen, Glenn Owen, Richmond Owen, Lynn Owen, Lillian Getts, Corrine Ohl, Neva Owen, Leo Owen, Baby Girl Owen, Virgil Owen, Clark Owen, Duane Owen, Eleanor Steen, Lois Seabolt; and grandson, David Lee Owen. Donald is survived by his 5 children, Richard E. (Debbie) Owen of Johnston, Ohio, Dale L. (Linda) Owen of Johnston, Ohio, Larry A. (Tanis) Owen of Andover, Ohio, Diane E. (Mark) Monus of Tucson, Arizona, and Brian L. (Korine) Owen of Portland, Indiana; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Beverly Kolb Abbott, a beloved member of the community, passed away on September 29, 2023, in Crowley, Texas. She was born on February 1, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas, to her parents Kathern Joe Mathis and Ward V. Kolb. Beverly was a gentle-hearted individual who always had a welcoming spirit towards others. She had a warm smile that could light up any room and a kind heart that touched the lives of everyone she met. Beverly's personality was one of compassion and understanding, making her a true friend to all. Throughout her career, Beverly worked at the Deli in Kroger. She dedicated herself to serving others with a friendly demeanor and impeccable work ethic. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service made her an indispensable part of the team. Tragically, we mourn the loss of Beverly Kolb Abbott. However, we gather not only to grieve but also to celebrate a life well-lived. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts as we cherish the moments shared with her. Beverly's surviving family includes her loving brother Kerry Kelly Kolb, who stood by her side through thick and thin.
