David Sutton Obituary

David was born in Morganfield Kentucky to the late Andrew and Mary Agnes Sutton. David was preceded in death by 7 siblings; Ophelia, John, Frances, Carmen, Minnie Jean, William, and Kathy. He leaves to cherish his memories 4 daughters Monica Stokes, Valerie Sutton, Danielle Sutton and Wendy gray Hubbard. 1 son Harold Abrams, 1 sister Lillie Mae Mullen and 1 brother Charles Sutton. 10 grand children and 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. David was an Honorably retired Army vet and Marine. He served in the Korean war and Vietnam War. He later moved to Detroit Michigan where he worked and retired from Ford Motor Company. David was a very loving caring and strong-willed man. He loved his family to no end; David was a lover of life and experienced it to the fullest. He was a fighter and survivor. He loved telling stories of his journey through life that could keep anyone occupied for hours. He saw the good in people and every situation always telling jokes to lift you up. He later returned to Morganfield where he enjoyed his retirement. He was a faithful and dedicated member of McGee Temple Church of God. He worked in and out of the Church and throughout his community doing God's will. David was truly a great one of a kind man and will be missed deeply by many.
