David Schormann of Troy, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by three children, Scott Schormann and wife, Carrie of O'Fallon, MO, Craig Schormann and wife, Kathryn of Troy, MO, and Melanie Dixon and husband, Rob of Columbia, MO; five grandchildren, David "DJ" Schormann, Steven Schormann, Benjamin Schormann, Emma Schormann, and Eddie Dixon; one great granddaughter, Paisley Ann; one sister, Doris Meister of Wentzville, MO, sister-in-law, Gail Schormann of St. Peters, MO; other relatives, and many friends. David Leslie Schormann was born April 12, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri; son of the late Leslie Oliver Schormann and wife, Venita Belle Schlensker Schormann. David graduated from Ritenhour High School in St. Louis. David married Miss Barbara Hendricks June 22, 1963 in St. Louis and three children were born to this marriage. David worked at Wagner Electric and retired as a machinist with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft/Boeing after many years. He loved to fish and also enjoyed hunting. He was proud of his nickname, "Crappie Dave. " David was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Schormann December 3, 2021 and one brother, Les Schormann. Elvadean "Dean" E. Bobeen,92, of Troy, MO, passed away on November 10, 2023 at her home in Troy, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 13, 19311in Millwood, MO to Frank and Frances (Lenk) Peasel. Her childhood was filled with family gatherings, festive holidays and plenty of love. Her siblings were: Katherine, Rita, Beatrice, Richard, Raymond and Leo. . Dean married her childhood friend and love of her life, Leonard Bobeen Jr. They were wed on May 13, 1950 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy. To this union were born eight children: Sandra, Candis, Linda, Tim, Ted, Tracy, Tony and Todd. Dean and Jr. co-owned Len's Standard Service in Troy and also Bobeen Oil Co. As you can imagine, she was a busy lady who was always willing to work hard to provide. Dean was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Church in Troy. She was still counting money at church into her late 80's. She did take time out for fishing, playing cards with her church ladies. A few weeks before her last hospitalization, Dean was able to go fishing at Mark Twain Lake. Dean also loved to garden and provide food for her growing family. At times, they would have several gardens at one time. Surviving are ; her children: Sandra Bobeen of Troy, Candis Bobeen of Columbia, Linda Bobeen of Troy, Tim Bobeen of Troy, Ted Bobeen and wife Tracy of Moscow Mills, Tracy Bobeen and wife Kay of Troy, Tony Bobeen and wife Kathy of Troy; 10 grandchildren: Daniel Bobeen, Nathan Bobeen, Crystal Bobeen, Trisha Jordan, Kayla Chatman, Hannah Bobeen, Eli Bobeen, Ashley(Bobeen) Hart, Mellanie(Bobeen) Beatty and Heather(Bobeen) Poli and twin great-granddaughters ; Alexy and Bre Bobeen, great-great grandchildren; Luke Jordan, Kaydence Chatman, Jaron Chatman, D. J. Hart, Hailey Hart, William Hart and one-on-the-way, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Todd Bobeen; her siblings, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023 from 1 p. m. - 4 p. m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379Funeral mass to be held on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023 at 10: 30 a. m. at Sacred Heart Church in Troy.
