David "Dave" Lee Peak of Cincinnati passed away October 6, 2023, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 50 years to Debra Lynn Peak (nee Bevers). Devoted father of Michael (Rachel) Peak and Kelly Peak. Proud grandfather of Ethan Peak. Loving brother of Tom (Stacey) Peak, and the late Diane Schrand and Kathy Ramey. Caring brother-in-law of Rick Schrand. Dear uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Cherished son of the late Ralph and Ruth Peak. Friends and family will be received from 5 PM to 6 PM, October 13, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH, with a service to begin at 6 PM. Rosa B. (Robinette) Helton, 91, passed away on the morning of November 28, 2023, with her devoted husband, Herlin, by her side. She was born on April 6, 1932, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the second daughter of George Matthew and Louisa (Cook) Robinette. She married Herlin Helton on January 17, 1950, at the courthouse in Salyersville, Kentucky where they lived until 1965 before moving to Clarksville, Ohio. Rosa lost two brothers, James and Joseph, in childhood and infancy. In addition to them, she was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, George and John Robinette, her sisters, Norma Lee Watkins and Retta Fraley, and her beloved granddaughter, Kathleen Helton. She is survived by her husband of almost 74 years, Herlin Helton, her remaining sibling, Teen Hart, of Hillard, Ohio, and her four children and their spouses: Dawson and Sharon Helton, Darvel and Kim Helton, Mary and Johnny Gray, and Myra Campbell. Rosa was the proud grandmother of Melissa (Helton) Whittamore, Melinda (Helton) Smith, Holly (Gray) Saville, John W. Gray, Melanie (Helton) Mann, Dawson H. Helton, Kelly (Helton) Peck, and Andrew Campbell. Nine great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren also survive, as well as many nieces and nephews. Though she never held a job outside of the home, Rosa Worked hard her whole life as a homemaker. She raised bountiful gardens and canned and preserved all she could to feed her family. She took scraps of cloth and made quilts to keep them warm, and she made clothes for her family that looked professionally made. Rosa was a member of the Clarksville Pentecostal Church of God since 1972. She lived a quiet life with her faith in God radiating from her, leaving behind a shinning Christian witness for her family. Friends will be received from 5-8pm on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St. , Blanchester, Ohio. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home-Blanchester, with her grandson-in-law, Robert Saville officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Clarksville Cemetery.Show more

Mary Jane (Martin) Durant In loving memory of Mary Jane Durant, a loving matriarch who touched the lives of many. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. A dedicated mother of eight, she also cared for five nieces and nephews, fostering a sense of family that extended to her 29 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A woman of faith, Mary Jane was a devout Catholic, finding strength in her faith. Her warm and friendly nature endeared her to all who knew her, creating a welcoming space for family and friends alike. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Durant; mother, Mary Carlton; father, Alexander Martin; stepfather, Carl Carlton and brother, Alexander Michael Martin. She is survived by her eight children and four special nieces and nephews: Jane (John) Nease, Tony (Marty) Durant, Mary Beth Taylor, Linda (Gary) Goolsby, Christopher (Tina) Durant, Mark (Sherry) Durant, Carla (Rolf) Ludvigsen, Patrick Durant, Shirley Cooper, Debbie (Monte) Brook, Fred (Janice) Durant, and Scott Durant; sister, Elizabeth (Mike) Emmert, and numerous nieces and nephews. In her passing, we celebrate a life well lived, a life dedicated to the values of love, family, and faith. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her loved ones who went before her.
