David Palladino Obituary

David J. Palladino, 85, of East Greenbush passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, after a brief illness. With his passing, we mourn the loss of a beloved stepfather, grandfather, and great grandfather. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Sara and Daniel Palladino. After David graduated from high school, he served four years in the United States Air Force. After he was discharged, he worked for the State of New York for over 30 years. He was a proud member of the Troy and Rensselaer Elks for 48 years. David was a devoted New York Yankees fan. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne Reedy Harbeck Palladino. David leaves behind his stepchildren Barbara Lischak (Walt), Richard Harbeck (Dorothy), Bette Lacivita (John), Joanne McCarthy (William), Mary K. DeJulio (Ron Babbitt), Elaine Nardacci (Fred) and predeceased by James Harbeck and Daniel Harbeck. Also, David had 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services for David will be held on Tuesday, April 25, at 1PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer. Calling hours will be held prior to the service at the funeral home for 11 AM to 1PM. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
