Lt. Col. John N. Pruett

Lt. Col. John N. Pruett of Bellevue passed away on February 25, 2024. He was born in Pasadena, California on April 20, 1955. He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit E. Pruett, and his mother, Concetta J. Pruett (Agnello.) He is survived by his wife, Donna; his son, Matthew; his daughter, Jennifer; his son-in-law Lucas; and his granddaughter, Summer. John was raised in Los Angeles, California until the age of 13 when he relocated with his mother to Clifton, New Jersey upon his father’s death. After graduating from Clifton High School, he attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, class of 1977. From there, he began his Army career with assignments in Fort Benning, Georgia and Fort Riley, Kansas, where in 1980, Jennifer was born. They then continued on to Schofield Barracks in Honolulu, Hawaii; then to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Fort Carson, Colorado; and then to Heidelberg, Germany, where in 1990, Matthew was born. John and his family continued on to Mannheim, Germany and then finally to Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska. John retired from the Army in 1998 and settled in Bellevue with his family. After his 21-year career in the military, he had a successful career as a nuclear weapons planner for the next 20 years. Following that, John enjoyed a quiet life; going for drives, being outside, and spending time with his family. He will be missed by many.

Brosman, son Thomas Brosman and grandson Robert W. O’Brien III. Survived by her children Jane (Dave) Szachta, Carol Casados, Fred H. Brosman Jr. , Kathy (David) Butler, daughter-in-law Fran Brosman, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brother James (Nancy) Roberts and many nieces and nephews. Private memorial services will be held at a future date, with interment at Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska.

She was born on June 29, 1944 to Vance Oswald Johnson and Hortense L. (Pitts) Johnson in Omaha, NE where she lived most of her life. Sharon graduated from Central High School with the class of 1963. After graduating high school, she attended college briefly and worked in the hospitality industry. Sharon met Wolfgang Joseph Liedtke and they were later married on March 25, 1972 in Omaha. Sharon and Wolfgang (Wolfy as she affectionately referred to him) lived for a brief time Las Vegas, NV from 1986 until 2008 when they moved back to Omaha. Sharon is survived by her two daughters: Sharon Dolezal of Omaha, NE; Tina Willis (husband Erick) of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren: Adrian Willis, T-Aira Chambers, Christopher Willis, Aricha Willis, and Billy Dolezal; four great-grandchildren: Halina Willis, Adrian Willis Jr., Tancred Willis, and Amelia Finchem. She was preceded in death by her parents: Vance Johnson and Lillie (Johnson) Maharajah, her husband: Wolfgang Liedtke, her granddaughter: Mariah Henry, and her son-in-law: Bob Dolezal. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, prior to a private family graveside service. Jean was born on July 25, 1942 to Fred Davenport and Ruth Ann (Hatt) Davenport. She was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth through her sophomore year of high school, when Jean moved with her family to Seattle, WA. She graduated from Edmonds High School with the class of 1960. After graduating from high school, Jean proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy for three years. After serving her country, Jean returned to Plattsmouth and she attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Jean returned to Seattle and she worked as an LPN from 1973 until she retired. Jean had been residing at The Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth since 2017. Jean is survived by her sister: Polly Briles and her husband Randy of Omaha, NE; two brothers: Clark Davenport and his wife Judy of Everett, WA, and Tom Davenport and his wife Barb of Plattsmouth, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was born on October 21, 1946 to Leonard Francis Farrell and Madge Virginia (Block) Farrell in North Bend, NE. He was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth and he graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the Class of 1965. After graduating from high school, Bill attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for a year. Then he began working as a surveyor. Bill met the love of his life Barbara “Barb” Ann Muehe and they later married on February 14, 1970 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Plattsmouth, NE. Bill and Barb made their home and raised their son in Bellevue. Bill owned and operated his own surveying company, Hill Farrell and Associates for thirty years. He is survived by his wife: Barb Farrell of Bellevue, NE; his son: Patrick Farrell of Omaha, NE; his granddaughter: Nicole Farrell of Bellevue, NE; and his sister: Diane Drommond and her husband Richard “Dick” of Lincoln, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
