In Loving Memory of Joel Thomas Easter February 22, 1970 - November 9, 2023 Bedford bid farewell to a beloved son, husband, father, and pillar of the community as Joel Thomas Easter peacefully passed away at his Huntingdon Ave. residence, enveloped in the warm embrace of his family, on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the age of 53. Born in Bedford in February 1970, Joel was the son of Clay Thomas Easter and the late Anna Catherine (Wolfhope) Easter. He embarked on a journey of love and commitment when he joined hands in matrimony with his high school sweetheart, Sheila (O'Shea) Easter, on August 10, 1991. Alongside his devoted wife Sheila, his father Clay, and in the hearts of his sons, Trey Michael (married to Chelsea Fochler Easter), and Ryan Thomas (married to Kate Shirey Easter), Joel leaves a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories. He was a doting grandfather to Bo Bennett Easter and Mia Ann Easter, who brought immense joy into his life. A man of dedication and passion, Joel found his calling in the wrestling community. Graduating from Bedford High School in 1988, he became an integral part of the wrestling world, earning respect and admiration from everyone he encountered. He became a mentor, a coach, and a guiding light for numerous young athletes, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. His unwavering commitment to his roles defined Joel's days--as the owner/operator of Easter's Janitorial Service and as a fervent enthusiast of two passions: wrestling and dirt-track racing. Whether on the mats or at the racetrack, Joel's presence was a beacon, radiating enthusiasm and dedication. Beyond his professional pursuits, Joel was a devoted brother to Jarrod, Jay, Joy Ann, and Janell. His spirit now finds solace, joined once more by his beloved mother, Anna, who preceded him in death. His departure leaves a void in the community that cannot be easily filled. However, the impact of his kindness, mentorship, and unwavering dedication to his passions will continue to resonate through the lives he touched. Joel Thomas Easter will forever be remembered for his strength, passion, and the genuine care he exhibited for those around him. Though he may have left this world, his spirit and the legacy he leaves behind will continue to inspire and guide all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Please consider supporting the Bedford Wrestling Mat Club in honor of Joel's passion and dedication to Bedford PA wrestling.
