David F. Cramer, 92, Live Oak, FL passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023. The Pittsburg, PA born native moved to Live Oak in 2001 from Deer Field Beach, FL, he served in the Army and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters 725 Union for forty-five years and of Christ Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Mr. Cramer is survived by his wife of seventy-one years: Patricia G. Cramer, Live Oak, FL; daughter: Coleen Escobar (Justo), Live Oak, FL; son: David K. Cramer (Meara), Live Oak, FL; three grandchildren: David Escobar, Jonathan Escobar and Rickie Cramer. He was preceded in death by his son: Craig S. Cramer and sister: Dorothy Weis. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 18th at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Pompano Beach, FL with Mr. Justo Escobar officiating. Please sign the guestbook.

Bonnie Lavon Padgett, age 84, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, under the care of Haven Hospice at Surrey Place Nursing Center. He was born in Jasper, Florida, the fourth child out of fourteen to Robert and Katie (Law) Padgett. Bonnie was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a trucker driver by trade. Bonnie was of the Baptist faith, an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Homer Padgett, Sara Mae Burkett, Shirley Padgett, Virginia Padgett Murphy, and Johnny Padgett. Bonnie is survived by his son, Tony Padgett and daughter-in-law, Waverly; daughter, Nina DeMartino; grandchildren, Brett Logan Padgett, Robert Marius DeMartino, and Christina Nicole DeMartino; siblings, Latain Spann, Juanita Butler, Monnette Vanosdol (Don), Bob Padgett, Nannette Padgett, Katie C. Taylor (Charles), Curtis Padgett (Cherie), and Anne Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church, 5203 County Road 795, Live Oak, Florida 32060. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. Betty L. Bush, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus, on October 18, 2023. She passed away peacefully at Stoneridge EFC, where she received loving care throughout her stay. Betty was born on September 13, 1936 in the Alma, MI. area to George and Bernice McGill. She married the love of her life, Oliver Bush, on November 1, 1963. She and Ollie had been residents of Nashville, MI. for many years, formerly of Grand Ledge, MI. Although early in her life Betty pursued a nursing career as a surgical technician, she married and became a homemaker. She carried on the tradition of crocheting which was a hallmark of her mother. She had been an active member of her beloved community at Nashville Baptist Church over the years. She enjoyed singing in the choir, and serving on various committees. Betty loved to cook and was happy to prepare an intimate meal for two or entertain a large group in her home. She had a reputation for serving delicious food. Betty is survived by two step-sons, Gary Bush (late Carol) of Crystal Springs, FL, Terry (Cheryl) Bush of Charlotte, MI; step-daughter Shelley (Vance) Higdon of Manitowoc, WI; sister Lola Hunt; sister-in-law Ilene McGill; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Oliver Bush; parents George and Bernice McGill; brothers Kenneth (Ada) McGill, Clifford (Georgia) McGill, Robert McGill; and sister Aloma (Bud) Donley. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Nashville Baptist Church, 312 Phillips Street, Nashville, MI on Friday, November 3, 2023 with visitation from 10:00-11:00am, and a Memorial Service 11:00-12:00.
