David James Brosko, 61 of Indiana, PA, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA He was born May 1, 1962, in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Theodore Brosko and Veronica (Blonar) Brosko Dave was always lending a hand to anybody in need He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and gardening He loved spending time with his few special friends and taking care of his most precious person, Kim He is survived by his most precious person of 34 years Kim Bourdess, Indiana, PA; daughter, Nicole Gordon, Indiana, PA; "special daughter", Hannah Williamson & husband, Neal, Colerain, NC; grandchildren, Josiah Gordon and Zuri Brosko; brother, Robert Brosko, Indiana, PA; special friends, Mark Hinchman & Tracy, Saltsburg, PA and Mark Lanich, Indiana, PA; his little buddy, Ronin & his parents, Cody & Pia Schry and also several Nieces & Nephews He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Mike, John & George Brosko In keeping with Dave's wishes, there will be no visitation or services Interment will be held in the Iselin Cemetery, Iselin, Pennsylvania If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W Market St , Blairsville, PA 15717 to help with final expenses To to the family, please

Sandra (Lipay) Davis, 77 of Derry, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA. She was born October 31, 1946 in Homestead, PA, the daughter of the late John Lipay and Ethel Irene (Kalla) Lipay. Sandra was a member of St. Joseph the Protector Chapel, Greensburg, PA. She had worked for 18 years at Torrance State Hospital starting out as an Aide then becoming an LPN having worked in PA & FL. She had worked as a psychiatric, geriatric, food addition, chemical dependency and camp nurse at Camp Sunshine of which she was very proud of. She was a member of the AFSCME Local 2344. Sandra enjoyed going to craft shows, traveling and partying with her friends and family. She is survived by her step-son, John Robert Davis, Jr. , Blairsville, PA; sister-in-law, Marlene Davis, Blairsville, PA; niece, Kathleen Lawson & husband, Milford, Jr. , Blairsville, PA; nephews: Garry Davis, Blairsville, PA, David Davis, Black Lick, PA and Daniel Davis, Blairsville, PA; great niece, Mellisa Pease & husband, James, Indiana, PA and great great nephews, Benjamin & Nathan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John "Jack" Davis in 2004; baby boy, James William Davis; infant son and daughter, Kelly Marie Vossburg. The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Richard "Dick" Cummings, Jr 88 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Beacon Ridge, Indiana, PA He was born October 21, 1934 in Latrobe, PA, the son of the late Richard Cummings and Helen (Yates) Cummings He graduated from Derry High School, Class of 1952 In his youth, along with his father, he was an avid hunter spending weeks and weekends at Bear Camp with many of his friends that passed before him After graduation, Richard joined the United States Marine Corp where he was stationed in Korea from 1953-1956 After serving in the USMC he went on to work at Kennametal When Kennametal went on strike, he decided to pursue a career in selling cars His first job at selling cars was at Bonarrigo Ford There he found that he loved selling cars and meeting people During that time, be became acquainted with Samuel Grabiak who owned Grabiak Chevrolet Sam offered him a position as General Manager He sold many Corvettes During his time selling cars, he made a lot of friends he enjoyed golfing with After working at Grabiak's for many years, he retired and you could find him on the golf course with Joey Nease, Dick Boggio & many others He golfed many places but his heart belonged to Mannitto in New Alexandria Dick was a life member of the Blairsville Volunteer Fire Department, the Elks #406, Blairsville Eagles, Derry Rod & Gun Club, Red Barn Sportsman's Club and the VFW A special thanks to Beacon Ridge, his nurses, aides and Ron Conrad Thanks also to 365 Hospice, especially Sarah Luther and Candy Coffman Dick is survived by his daughter, Vicki Yatzkanic & husband, Robert, Blairsville, PA; son, Rick Cummings & partner, Linda, York, PA; grandchildren, Aimee Mondies & Jeffery Cummings; sister, Georgine Loughrey, Blairsville, PA; sister, Helen Bravis, Derry, PA; sister-in-law, Darlene Cummings, Latrobe, PA and many Nieces & Nephews He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anita (Spiardi) Cummings in 2003; brother, Jay Cummings and brothers-in-law, David Loughry & John Bravis The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W Market St Blairsville, PA 15717 on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM At 7 PM an Elks service will be held, followed by a military service conducted by the Blairsville Military Honor Guard Interment will be held in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania To to the family, pleaseShow more
