She appreciated the beauty in everything and she loved nature which is why it wasn't unusual to find her in a park, hiking or feeding fish at the lake. Rosea was a straight A student at Las Vegas High School where she also focused on AP classes and expressed herself creatively by taking photos or drawing. Rosea was intelligent, funny and kind to anyone she met. Born on June 14, 1984, she embraced every moment of her 39 years with spirit and passion, leaving a significant impact on the lives of everyone who knew her.Hydeia was passionate about continued education and awareness, always striving to further her knowledge and understanding of the world around her. She believed in living authentically and taught us all, through her own example, that it's okay to just be yourself, in whatever skin you're in. Her central belief was to live your truth and to accept others as they live theirs. This lesson, amongst many others, has left an enduring mark on those whose lives she touched.Hydeia is survived by an extensive and loving family. She leaves behind her mother, Patricia Broadbent, and her father, Loren Broadbent. Her siblings, Bryana Harris, Kalani Davis, Kendall Franklin, Paige Davis, Patricia Franklin, Shaina Colombo, Kimberly McCoy, Ronald Dishmon, Michael Dowling, and Crystal Smith will miss their sister dearly. Donald Edward Wilson Jr., 85, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 24, 2024. Born in Missouri on Jan. 12, 1939 to Letha and Donald Wilson, Don and the family settled in Henderson in 1952. He graduated from Basic HS in 1957. He attended ASU on a baseball scholarship (Go, Sun Devils!), and graduated with a Business Administration degree. He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis. He then worked in Washington, D.C. at the House Post Office. In 1965, he moved back to Nevada where he worked at Spring Mountain Youth Camp for 11 years. When Harry Reid was elected to Congress in 1983, he called Don to work with him in his D.C. office. Don was a legislative assistant, then office manager until 1989. He moved back to Nevada to be assistant director in Sen. Reid’s Las Vegas office until he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents and his youngest brother Roger. He is survived by his sister Sharon Rothwell, brother Gary Wilson (Jeannie), nieces Regina Roybal (Matt) and Robin Rothwell, nephew Darin Rothwell, great-nieces Jillian Roybal and Courtney Mall, and great-nephews Ryan Roybal and Jacob Mall. Throughout his life, Don was an avid reader, traveler and sports fan. He had season tickets to UNLV baseball, and he always rooted for the Basic Wolves. A great storyteller, a loving family member and a devoted friend, Don will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Palm Mortuary at 800 S. Boulder Hwy on March 11 at 10 a.m.
