Darrell Richardson Obituary

Darrell W. Richardson, Jr. , age 47, entered into eternal rest in his Bridgeport home on April 14, 2023. Darrell was born on May 28, 1975 to his loving parents, Darrell Wayne Richardson, Sr. and Gladys Ramirez. He and his four siblings were raised in Bridgeport. He worked as a sales representative and cared for and provided for his two children. Affectionately known as "Alf", Darrell was a joyful man who loved life and instilling joy and positivity wherever he went. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to all he encountered in the city of Bridgeport. His family spoke lovingly of his million-dollar smile and ability to inspire people to never give up, saying to them "SQUAD UP!" in the firmest but most loving tone. Darrell is predeceased by his father, Darrel W. Richardson, Sr. ; his brothers, Darrius Richardson and Matthew Richardson; and his son, Darrell W. Richardson III. He is survived by his mother, Gladys Ramirez; his siblings Shavon Richardson-Taylor and Brandon Jackson; his daughter Claudia Maria; his grandson Isaiah Keith Richardson, his niece Chassity Richardson, his nephew Isaiah Atkins; his great-nephew Trevari George, and a whole host of loving cousins and friends that will continue to honor and cherish his memory.
