Danny Wilson Obituary

Pastor Danny Wilson, passed away at his residence, Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 2:00 AM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke & Annie Wilson; brothers, Doyle (Julia), Jack (Elanor) Jerry, Don (Juanita) Wilson. He leaves behind to cherish his memory & the love we all felt for him, wife of 61 years, Shirley (Cain); sister, Joyce True; sister-in-law, Ruth Wilson; sons, Eric (Joyce), Phillip (Melissa), Aaron (Sarah), and daddy's girl, Danna Wilson; grandchildren, Cody (Kate), Emily (Derek), Keith, Daniel, Eric (Candance), and April; great-grandchildren, Kayson, Eli, Keira, Zamoral & Brooks; several nieces , nephews, and a host of friends. He pastored many churches. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Lebanon Baptist Church, 1411 Old Parksville Road NE, Cleveland, TN 37323 and Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Adam Hardin and nephew DeWayne True, officiating. Burial will be held at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery after the service with pallbearers, Eric Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Kent Broomfield, Stephen Mowery, Kenny Cain, Michael Jacobs, and Alan Bell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lebanon Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
