Danny Lee Holder, age 75 of Quartszite, AZ, passed away September 7, 2023 in San Antonio, TX. He was born October 23, 1947 in Pontiac, MI and raised in Wartburg, TN. Danny retired as a musician for 50 years. he played lead guitar with some of the top country stars in L. A. and Nashville. Later, he devoted his musical talent to serve the Lord with his best friend and Pastor, Joe Ferguson of CA. He loved to metal detect and enjoy the beauty of the AZ desert. He is proceeded in death by his parents Raymond Holder and Marie Hamby Stringfield, and sisters Virginia and Margie Holder. He leaves behind his daughters: Misty Holder and Turia Holder Dempsey and Grandchildren Riley and Lily Dempsey all of Sacramento, CA. , Brother: Jody Holder of Sevierville, TN. , Sister: Gail Holder Southard and husband Luke of San Antonio, TX. , Nephew: Christopher Forman and wife Rosie of Spring, TX. , Niece: Jessica Pimpton of San Antonio, TX. , Great-Neices: Alyssa Forman and Gabrielle Pinpton and Great-Nephews: Isaiah, Bryce, and Justyce Pimpton, all of which he adored. A special cousin Barbara Holder Walsh, and husband Rick of Fountain Hills, AZ. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 11am-1pm Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 1pm. Internment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery, Wartburg, TN. Schubert Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Danny Lee Holder.

Preston Lyfe "P-Man" Wells, 12, went to be with the lord December 8, 2023, at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. He was a member of New Life Church of God in Midtown. He played football for the Harriman Blue Devils from the time that he was four, he loved singing in church, the University of Tennessee, and the Tennessee Titans. He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Patricia Graham. Uncle: Shawn Lee Graham. He is survived by his mother: Amanda Wells. Grandparents: Randy & Ann Wells. Father: LaShawn Graham. Brothers and sisters: Cody Wells, Sean Wells, Zayla Treadway, Emma Wells, Allie Wells, Josie Wells, Ja'Quan Benton, Antwan Alloway, Miracle Brady, Aua Hensley, Jaquez Collins, Journey Graham, and Amir Graham. Ruby Elizabeth Scott Gosnell, age 83, went home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband Howard, Thursday, November 30, 2023. She was born May 18, 1940. Ruby retired after 27 years from the Morgan County Courthouse where she was a Deputy Clerk for the Circuit Court Clerks office. She was a member of the Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. Ruby’s love for her family and friends was a reflection of her love for the Lord. The baked goods and casseroles that she enjoyed making for everyone was her blue ribbons in life. Waiting for this day was her only travel plans. She will be truly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Howard Gosnell; daughter Serita Gosnell; parents Sam and Glenna Scott; brother John F. Scott; grandson Grant Gosnell; father-in-law and mother-in-law Burl and Blanch Gosnell and God-son Billy White. Ruby leaves behind her son Harry (Tammy) Gosnell; special niece Melissa (Randy) Winegar; grandchildren Elaine (Adam) Walden, Troy Gosnell, Tori (Jesse) England, Meghan (Justin) Dagley, Alisha (Ryan) Helton, Matt (Melissa) West and Autumn Nagy; great grandchildren Logan & Kinsley Walden, Braylee & Teylee Dagley, Brody & Brielle West, Levi, Chloe and Maverie England will arrive March 2024.
