Dannie Ross Durham age 68, of Arab passed away Thurs. April 25, 2019, at his residence. Dannie was born on May 26, 1950, in Guntersville, AL the Son of James and Wynell Parrish Durham. His Dad went to work in Ohio so the family moved there when Dannie was a child. He graduated from Midview High School in Grafton, OH in 1969 and served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Susan Yasher and they moved back to Alabama in 1981. Dannie worked as an over the road truck driver and his hobbies included drag racing and Sci Fi movies and novels. He is survived by his Wife: Susan Durham of Arab; Children: Paul (Melissa) Davis of Arab, Brent (Christina) Durham of Bay Minette and Jammie Durham of Scottsboro; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren; Mother in law: Carroll Yasher of Arab and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents: James and Wynell Durham and Brother: Andrew "Butchie" Durham. Funeral Service will be Sunday April 28, 2019, at 4 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with visitation from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Beacon Hospice. Sympathy Store
