Mya Nicole Taylor, 24, of Mingo Junction, OH passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2024. She was born on September 27, 1999 to Travis Taylor and Leann Rocchio. She is survived by her devoted siblings: Nautica, Penelope, Taylor, Octavian, Kensey, and Hayden, each a testament to the bonds of family she held dear. Mya's warmth extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her paternal grandmother, Dolly (Jeff) Greenberg of Florida, Aunt Amanda (Chris Lehner) Greenberg of Pittsburgh, Uncle Christopher Conlon of Tiltonsville and Aunt Mary (Jeff) Wells of Toronto. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jackie Darrah, John Rocchio and great grandfather, Charles Kinsey. Mya was a 2017 graduate of Buckeye Local High School. She exemplified kindness in every aspect of her life; placing the well-being of her loved ones above all else. She found joy in the company of her cherished friends and family, sharing laughter, listening to music and creating lasting memories. Mya's spirit of giving knew no bounds, even in her passing, as she selflessly chose to be an organ donor, granting the gift of life to three individuals in need. Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Mya's life on Saturday, February 17, from 4 to 8 pm, with a service to honor her memory commencing at 6 pm at Schuetz Funeral Home, located at 235 Clifton Ave in Mingo Jct., OH. Jared Martin Schrader, 34 born on October 11, 1989, in Yorkville, Ohio, tragically passed away on February 5, 2024 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, surrounded by family. He was the beloved son of Martin and Carla (Hankish) Schrader and brother of Alicia Schrader (Allen Leonard.) Jared is survived by his loving daughters Kylee Jo (12) and Annabelle Mae (6) Schrader, nieces and nephews Addison and Mason Baker of Martins Ferry, Nikki and Logan Schrader, Steven Emrick, and a great nephew Waylon, Aunts and Uncles Michael (Nelly) Hankish, Stephanie Lutz, Ken (Cecilia) Hankish, Jim (Ana) Hankish, Tracey Rohr, and Sharon Kay (Frank) Stupak. Jared was a devoted father to his two beautiful children, Kylee Jo and Annabelle Mae. They were the light of his life, and Jared took immense pride in being their loving and supportive father. He cherished every moment spent with his children, and his love for them was immeasurable. Jared was a graduate of Buckeye Local High School in 2008. Jared had a passion for playing guitar, hiking, fishing, and camping. He enojoyed looking into sky, at the stars, and at the constellations, and teaching his daughters about many of life lessons. Jared was a true free spirit with a unique zest for life. He had an incredible sense of humor that could lighten even the darkest of moments. His infectious laughter and playful personality brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Mary Lou Fodor, Philip Hankish, Lois and Richard Schrader, and his brother Marty Lee Schrader, and Aunt Deneen Schrader. Holly was born on June 15th, 1974 in Pittsburgh, Pa to Margaret Lewis and the late Terry Allen Lewis. She was a beautiful soul who loved to travel and spend time with her family. Holly was welcomed with open arms by her son Sir Boston II and her father Terry Allen Lewis. She was born June 19, 1934, in Smithfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Wilma (Shaw) Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Miles on May 4, 2013; a daughter, Patty Bell on November 25, 2022; three brothers, William, Charles “Chuck” and Paul “PC” Clark; and an infant sister, Helen Irene Clark. Laura enjoyed taking care of people, playing solitaire, word search puzzles, going to the Mingo Senior Center, visiting Amish Country and spending time with her family. She was born December 21, 1926 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Bierkortte) Letzelter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen S. Brooks Jr. ; and six siblings, Melvin Letzelter, Mary Cross, Lloyd Letzelter, Rose Matta, Jack Letzelter and Barbara Steele. Georgia was a sales clerk at the former 5 & 10 in downtown Steubenville and also at the former Isaly's in downtown Mingo retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church; the Catholic Women's Club; and the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by her daughter, Mary K. See of Mingo Junction, OH; four grandchildren, Michael (Sandy) See, Theresa Lindsey, Gary W. See II and his fiance Kristi Hamilton and Ed (Chrissy) See; and nine great-grandchildren. Andrew S. Strohmeyer, 63, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Tuesday December 5, 2023 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH. He was born September 21, 1960 in Steubenville, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, David Strohmeyer; and two brothers, David M. Stromeyer and Joseph B. Strohmeyer. Andrew was a dishwasher and worked at Naples Spaghetti House and also the former Damons Grill, both in Steubenville, OH. He was a former member of the Weirton Moose Lodge. Andrew played basketball for 22 years for the Jefferson County All Stars and won 3 State Championships for the Special Olympics. Andrew gave the gift of life to help others by donating his liver and other tissue through Lifeline of Ohio. The family would like to thank Ann Marie Butera of Mingo Junction for the extra help she gave Andrew as well as the staff and doctors at Trinity Medical Center West in the ER and ICU. Surviving are his mother, Edith Ann (Sauer) Strohmeyer of Steubenville, OH; a son, Andy Strohmeyer and his fiance Sara McLain of Steubenville, OH; a grandson, Andrew L. Strohmeyer, Jr of Steubenville, OH; a sister, Laurie A. Lessie was educated in the Charles county public school system, she was baptized at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Lessie's greatest pastime was spending time with family and friends. She loved to have family and friends over to play cards and cook dinner.
