"Daniel Howard Wages, 63, of New Milford, PA, left us for his heavenly home on September 10th, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Plevinsky Wages, sons Frederick and Mitchell, daughter Kelsey (Andrew). His mother Doris Wages, sister Susan Adamec, brother-in-law Martin (Claudia) Plevinsky, sister-in-law Karen (Robert) Shaver. Also his \u0026quot;too stinkin\u0027 cute\u0026quot; granddaughter, Khloe and his \u0026quot;give me that baby\u0026quot; grandson Jameson Daniel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Christine (Todd) Wolfe, Katherine (Paul) O\u0027Neill, Meghan (Derek) Brooks, Elizabeth (Brian) Parr, Stephanie (Tommy) Adamec, Damon (Melonye) Henry, Cassandra (Raymond) Fenner, Brooke (Gage) Piechocki, Christopher Plevinsky. Great nieces and nephews Jacob, Gavin, Jacqueline, Sylvia, Henry, Celia, Damon Jr. , Tanner, Nataya, Zoee, Joseph, Michael, Wesley. He was predeceased by his father Fred, brother-in-law Robert Adamec, sister and brother-in-law Laura and Joe Brooks, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joseph and Mary Plevinsky, and great nephews Joshua and Tyler. Daniel was born July 28, 1960, to Fred and Doris Wages. He graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 1979, signing an early enlistment on the Buddy System with his best friend, Roger Stonier. He enjoyed a career serving his country in the Air Force, taking an early retirement after almost 17 years. The family moved back to New Milford because Daniel and Kathy wanted to raise their children near extended family and friends. Daniel started a second career with the U. S. Post Office, in Montrose before transferring to New Milford and retiring in 2019. He loved spending time with his family, hunting with his children, and fishing with Alanna. During his childrens' Triplet\u0027s career, he could be found announcing in the tower being heralded as \u0026quot;The Voice of the Triplets\u0026quot;. Daniel was well known as Mr. Fix-it, even if it meant three trips to the hardware store or several calls to unsuspecting friends for help who always answered. In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Florida, and Maine, and visiting various loved ones along the way. He will be sorely missed by his Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club. He served the Lord he loved at the First United Methodist Church in New Milford, serving as Lay Leader for many years which placed him on most committees. Daniel was the delegate to the Annual Conference for many years. He also taught Junior High Sunday School and led the Junior High Youth Group for eight years. He was co-founder of the Feed My Sheep food pantry which he served for many years. Viewing hours will be on Thursday, September 14th from 5pm to 8pm at Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in New Milford on Friday, September 15th at 11am. Donations in his memory can be made to Feed My Sheep or the Building Fund at the First United Methodist Church located at 69 Pratt St New Milford, PA 18834. "
