Daniel 'Danny' R Thomas, age 35, of Uniontown, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, September 8th at Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his family. He battled Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension from the age of 12 and is now free from all pain and suffering. He was born December 16th, 1987, in Akron to Rick and Tammi (Dickey) Thomas and was a life resident of Lake Township. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of almost 12 years, Carolyn; four children, Rylan, Faye, Ruthie and June; parents Rick and Tammi Thomas; sisters Amy Robinson and Alyssa (Austin) Hostetler. Danny lived his life for his savior Jesus Christ and worked hard to become the man God created him to be. Danny was first and foremost a loving person as a husband, father, son, brother and friend. His infectious personality quickly won people over. Danny was funny, competitive, loyal, determined and fiercely protective of his family. He loved his family with a passion. He always took the time to show his son, Rylan how to do different projects in and around the house and loved to play video games with him. He spent lots of time baking with the girls and snuggling on the couch. One of his favorite things to do every year was cooking a turkey with all of his children to donate to the church at Thanksgiving. He loved his wife, Carolyn beyond words. He would always surprise her, and plan elaborate unconventional dates. Danny was a self-taught chef and musician, playing guitar, piano and drums. He was also the guy who helped everyone with their electronic and computer problems. Danny was self-employed with his company Exhale Agency and was a realtor for Keller Williams. He was a 2006 Lake High School graduate and attended Malone University and Stark State College. He enjoyed Ohio sports, grilling, board games, movie nights, sour candy, watching food network, creating recipes and spending time with his family. His loss will be deeply felt for many years to come, but we are thankful for the hope of heaven and the promise of seeing him again. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, September 12th from 5:00-8:00pm and Wednesday, September 13th from 10:00-11:00am at First Christian Church in Heritage Hall (6900 Market Ave N. , Canton 44720).
