Daniel Iv Obituary

With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Daniel W. Jefferis IV on April 20, 2023. Dan was born on January 29, 1944 in Chester, PA to Daniel W. Jefferis III and Alice Wheatly Jefferis. Dan graduated from Chester High School in 1962 and then attended Moravian College. After leaving Moravian, Dan joined the United States Marine Corp as a reservist and then started work at DuPont. Dan worked at Dupont for 30 plus years while at Dupont he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Delaware in 1996. When not working, Boo-Boo enjoyed playing softball for the Beauties, fishing and collecting baseball autographs and Red Sox memorabilia with his friend Jack. He also enjoyed time with his friends and planning "Pig Fest" at Stanley's Tavern and going to the Blue Rocks games. Dan also enjoyed spending time with his family. Dan was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Sharp-Jefferis. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Floor (Jefferis) (Andy) and son Daniel W. Jefferis V (Sarah) and 3 granddaughters, Erin, Anna and Caroline. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
