Daniel Feather Obituary

Daniel W. Feather, 70, of Queen, passed away Sunday May 7, 2023 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College. He was born November 20, 1952 in Roaring Spring, son of the late Walter S. and Grace A. (Cox) Feather. He married Rhonda E. Claar on September 17, 1970 in Cumberland, MD. She passed away November 10, 2019. Surviving is a son Darian Feather, a daughter Heidi Feather and companion Shawn Freeman, 7 grandchildren Kourtland and Cameryn Feather, AJ Alexander, Jacob, Makenley and Tate Freeman and Austin Feather, 6 great grandchildren, and a brother Steve Feather. Danny was a 1970 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. He retired as a machine operator from Small Tube Products in 2020 after 47 years of service. He was a member of the Claysburg Church of God. Danny was a member of the Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on dirt bikes, hanging out with his grandkids and watching their sporting events. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P. M. Friday May 12, 2023 at the Claysburg Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M Saturday May 13, 2023 at the church with Pastor Kim Swindell officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
