Daniel Callahan Obituary

Daniel M. Callahan of Machias, NY passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at his residence at the age of 46. He was born March 21, 1977 in Port Huron, MI a son of Debra (Daniel Pitonack) Callahan of Machias. He enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing and listening to music. He collected Hot Wheels and enjoyed adding his collectables to his man cave. He also enjoyed watching AEW and comic books. Dan was a Machinist at Horschel Brothers Precision in Springville and previously worked at Koike Aronson in Arcade. In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by the love of his life, Cheryl Murrett of Machias; his children: Mickayla Callahan of Delevan, McKinley Callahan of Machias, McKenna Callahan of Machias, Ashley Murrett of West Seneca, Jessica Murrett of Orchard Park, Zachory Murrett of Ocala, FL and Vincent Murrett of South Buffalo; his sister, Holly (Donald) Wright of Arcade; step-brother, Nathaniel Pitonack of Springville; six grandchildren: Liam Callahan, Jayden Murrett, Logan Murrett, Aurora Leiham, Gwen Leiham and Jade Leiham; his niece, Andrea Kyle and nephew, Evan Wright. There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery in Machias.
