Daniel "Danny" Charles Beaumont Of Chelmsford, formerly of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday September 5, 2023 in his residence at the age of 69. Born on May 1, 1954 in Lowell; son of the late William F. Beaumont and Alice (Kelley) Beaumont, Danny was raised in Waltham and lived most of his life in Billerica. Danny graduated from Waltham High School and worked as a Driver for Support Management for many years. Prior to driving special needs adults, Danny was an expert at drywall, and worked in that field for most of his adult life. Some of his many different hobbies & interests included; whittling wood, creating masterpiece walking sticks, coloring/creating art like you've never seen, interesting creatures molded from clay, creations from snow! He loved all types of music and was a drummer for a band back in his heyday called Johnny Atomic, as well as many other bands. Danny loved visiting the white mountains and made regular visits to his favorite beach in Nahant to collect sea glass and seashells that he would later paint and would give away to passersby. Danny was adored by all and could entertain everyone he came in contact with. He always had an amazing bond with children, as he really was a child at heart. When he wasn't creating art you could find him outside, no matter the weather. He truly enjoyed yard work and loved being in his yard in Billerica. He took immense pride in his home that he maintained since the early 70's when his grandmother grew old. Known for throwing huge parties for Halloween with live bands. He lived there until February of 2017. After that you could find him in Kerry's yard creating teepees and huts out of sticks, a bridge for the girls to cross the stream, ripping up the woods in the go-cart and quads or coloring. Danny was nicknamed "Nini" by Ashlynn, and the name carried on for all of the great nieces and nephews. He thoroughly enjoyed perusing yard sales and antiquing. He had an incredibly eclectic collection of items. Danny was always there to lend a helping hand- but only if you did it his way! He was able to find the extraordinary in things most considered ordinary. Favorite quote "I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong" He is survived by his devoted & loving siblings; Dianne Ponce of California; Debbie Beaumont of Waltham; Amy Beaumont McMullen and her husband Rich of Foxborough; and Bill Beaumont and his wife Colleen of Dracut. In addition, he is survived by numerous nieces & nephews whom he treated all as if they were his own children. Dear brother of the late Kelly Beaumont Mazzarini and William "Fred" Beaumont. Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Danny's life and remember the love and friendship he shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Wednesday evening Sept. 13th at 6:30 pm.
