Dale Wayne Williams, 86, passed away with the sunrise on May 8th, 2023, in Coldwater, MI. Dale was born on November 24, 1936 in Havana, IL to Harry and Ruth (Bohm) Williams. He married Beverly Ann (Wright) Williams on May 25th, 1958 in Belle Plaine, Iowa. Dale graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 1961. He entered private practice on July 5, 1965 in Coldwater, MI and had a successful practice for over 50 years. During the last 50 years, activities in the community included: Vice President and President of the Lincoln School PTA Director, Past President Coldwater Jaycees, Past State VP Michigan Jaycees and JCI Senator Past Master Tyre Lodge #18 F&AM, Past Grand Lodge Chairman, passed Grand Lodge officer, past District Deputy Grand Master, past Chairman Grand Lodge, York Rite Mason, Scottish Rite Mason, AAONMS Shriners of North America, past President of the Branch County Shrine Club , 20 year member of Shriners parade unit, Moslem Shrine. Past Associate Guardian Jobs Daughters Past President Coldwater Optimist Club Moslem Shrine Detroit, Branch County Shrine Club and Scooter Patrol, Secretary and Treasurer Chairman of the widows and orphans committee of the Grand Lodge of Michigan of the Free & Accepted Masons. Organizational and extension Chairman Nottawa, trails Boy Scouts Vice president of the Mary mixer square dance club Served on the Board of Directors of the Coldwater recreation board Served on the city of Coldwater tax appeals Board, and served as chairman of the city zoning board of appeals Secretary McDonald's collectors club of MI Coached the first fifth and sixth grade girls, slow pitch team. Coached Little League several years and coached teams in the woman's slow pitch city league Dale is survived by his wife, Beverly; his children Becky (John) Ruppert of Coldwater, Denise (Brad) Andersen of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Colleen (Brian) Walker of Naples, FL, Dale Williams of Holland; his grandchildren Sam, Katherine, Melissa, Jack, Stephanie and Caroline; great grandchild Dylan, step children, Nikki, Jay, Melissa and Amber. He was preceded in death by his grandson Rodney and siblings Harry, Alma, Doris, Glen, Glenna and Wilma. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:30AM at the Coldwater United Methodist Church in Coldwater with Pastor Scott Marsh officiating. Private interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be held, prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 AM at the church.
