Cynthia Jane Pfitzer Wick Cindy passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Dear daughter of the late John E. Pfitzer and Florence Pfitzer Kastner; dear wife of the late Steven Charles Wick; dear sister of J. Steven Pfitzer, Lisa J. Pfitzer (John Price), and Paula Jean Pfitzer; dear stepsister of the late Mark R. Kastner, Steven J. Kastner (Linda), and James Kelly (Kathleen) Kastner; dear auntie of Emma Grace and Alyssa Mae Pfitzer Price, Becca Kastner Brown (Craig Brown), Kelley Kastner, Kevin (Lauren) Kastner, Jeremy (Natalie) Kastner, and Katie Kastner. Cindy was an amazing friend, sister-in-law, co-worker, great aunt, cousin, and niece, as well as an honorary sister and mom to many of her friends and their children. Among a long list of her kind gestures, she volunteered at the St. Louis Area Foodbank, organized a monthly cousins' breakfast and was stellar at remembering birthdays. We will miss her so much - her laughter, her thoughtfulness and her incredible strength. Words cannot adequately express our heartfelt and humble gratitude for the unwavering support from friends and family these last three months. Your thoughts, prayers, cards, calls, texts, gifts, and flowers meant the world to Cindy and to us. It gives us peace to know how much she was loved and adored. Services: Cindy's celebration of life memorial visitation is at the FAMILY CENTER at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, (building in back of parking lot), Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 1-4 p. m. with a memorial service at approximately 3:20 p. m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Stray Rescue of St. Louis, the St. Louis Area Foodbank or the American Diabetes Association of St. Louis.
