Cynthia A. (Shaffer) Spor, 84, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born November 11, 1938, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John Paul Sr. and Jane (Gockle) Shaffer. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Spor, Sr. ; two brothers, William Shaffer and John Shaffer, II; and two sisters, Jane Ament and Josephine Medved. She is survived by her son, John L. Spor, Jr. ; three daughters, Kimberly A. Sloskey (Michael), Darlene L. Johnston, and Nancy Lee Cribbs (Dana); four grandchildren, Sarah, Renee, Deja, and Brandon; and four great-grandchildren, Adrian, Aleister, Brandon, and Olivia. A memorial service will begin at 11 AM Thursday, April 27, 2023, in First Baptist Church, 1228 Brinkerton Rd. , Greensburg, PA 15601. Please go directly to the church. LEO M.
