Cory Davis Obituary

,33, son of Anthony Williams and Christy Davis entered eternal life on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was born February 24th, 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky. Cory grew up in Memphis, Indiana, graduating from Borden High School in 2009. Cory was a jack of all trades, from creating his own music, to fixing electronics, cars or anything of the like. He could watch one video and know how to accomplish a task. Cory could light up a room with his big smile and constant pranks. He got his love of cars from his dad and loved mom's cooking. Every holiday his request was cheesy potatoes and banana pudding. There is nothing Cory loved more than the light of his life, his daughter, Kira Lee. She was his favorite person in the world. Cory cherished the memories and time he spent with her. Left to treasure his memory are his daughter, Kira Lee Davis, his siblings, Tiffany Boesing (Joseph), Meaghan Williams (Tyler), Justin Durbin, Shaun Williams, Tomi Williams (Xavier), Faith Burden, his parents, Anthony Williams and Christy Davis, and stepmother, Shauna Williams, his grandparents, Cynthia and Danny Williams, Bill and Norma Davis, and many loved ones. Cory is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Mimmie, grandfather, Charles Anthony Williams, his Papa, James Curry, his Uncle Randy Meredith, his Aunt, Stacy Roush and family pets, Cassie Monea, FatBoy, and Mimi. A Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 P. M. on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 A. M. until 8:00 P. M. and on Friday from 10:00 A. M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
