Constance Horn Obituary

Connie was born January 27, 1948 to Elmer and Florence Morrison and was reunited with them May 6, 2023. She was a second-grade teacher, a principal, and Director of Elementary Instruction for the Floyd County Board of Education. Connie was a stepmom to Jenny Tackett Urra, and a cousin to Sandra Dills, both of Columbus, Ohio. She was also a dog mom to too many dogs to name, mostly Pomeranians and Weimeraners, and lastly to her sweet Westie, Piper. Connie leaves a multitude of friends to mourn her passing, and literally hundreds of second graders who loved their "Ms. Tackett. " A Celebration of Life will be held for Connie at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 202 at Community Methodist Church in Prestonsburg. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of service. Care Cremation & Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
