Kenya Raen Hicks age 38 of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024.She was born April 10, 1985, in Jackson to Ramona Godwin and the late Tony Hicks. She graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology and was as a pediatric licensed practical nurse. Survivors include four daughters, Corra Forrester (Landon), Alyson Forrester, Breeanna Forrester all of Lexington and Fantasia Cotromano of Savannah; mother, Ramona Godwin of Lexington; brother, Marc Hicks (Kelly) of Gadsden; two sisters, Angel Hicks of Perryville and Angela Polluck (Jay) of Hohenwald; boyfriend and love of her life, Frank Neska of Jackson. She is also survived by a grandson, Easton Crowder.A funeral service to celebrate Kenya's life will be conducted Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Amazing Grace Ministries with the pastor, Bro. Chris Warren officiating and burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The Hicks family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.

He was born on November 25, 1961, in Greensburg, the son of Lester Wayne and Elise Faye (Parker) Powers. He was born and raised in Decatur County and has resided in Lexington, Tennessee the past 4 years. Roger was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired from the National Guard. He enjoyed model building. He is survived by his sister, Alice F. Lynch of Columbus, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Lester Wayne Powers, Jr., Grover L. Powers, Charles Lester Powers and Jerry Wayne Powers. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Jay Vanderbur officiating. A time of visitation will be on Saturday, January 13 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Gabriella Dawn Haynes, age 5, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Henderson County Community Hospital of Lexington, TN. All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home. Gabriella was born in Jackson, TN on October 26, 2018, to her loving parents Phillip Matthew Haynes and LeEmma Maness Haynes. Gabriella was enrolled in Pre-K and attended Caywood Elementary School. She was a very loving, vibrant little girl who was the noise of joy to her family. She loved unicorns and dinosaurs and left a trail wherever she went. She will now be a joyful noise in Heaven and watch after her siblings: P.J. (Phillip Jr.), Rose Lana and Savannah Haynes. Along with her adoring parents and siblings, Gabriella is survived by her great-grandfather: Charles Becker; her maternal great-grandmothers: Carol Kirby and Lennie Maness; her paternal grandparents: Mike and Paula Haynes; her maternal grandparents: Billy and Lisa Manness; her uncles: Josh Maness and Christopher Haynes; her aunt: Ashley Haynes; her cousins: Caleb, Trysten and Riley Maness, Daisy and Kolby Call and Alyssa Grey; She leaves her special friends that she played with at home: Luke, Jackson and Willy. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfathers: Eulus Kirby and Billy Maness; paternal great-grandfather: Tommy Haynes; paternal great-grandmothers: Christine Becker and Nellie Doughten. "Lois Ann Fleming, age 77, of Lexington, Tennessee, died Sunday, December 24, 2023, at her home in Lexington. She had been in poor health for the past year. Mrs. Fleming was born June 28, 1946, and was the daughter of Preston Stanley and Eva Lou Parker Stanley. She was a retired cafeteria manager for the Prairiland C.I.S.D. in Blossom, Texas. She was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Lexington, Tennessee and when visiting in Palestine she attended the Palestine Church of Christ. In her life\u0027s adventures she always considered Palestine her home. Mrs. Fleming married Weldon Fleming and he preceded her in death in 2012. She is survived by one step-son, Tracey Fleming, and wife, Susan, of Crosby, Texas, one step-daughter, Debbie Thomas, and husband, James, of Cleveland, Texas, one brother, Gary Don Stanley, and wife, Judy, of Lexington, Tennessee, three nephews; Michael Stanley, Gary Neil Stanley, and Timothy Stanley, and a host of other family members and friends. She had one step-son, Dale Fleming, who preceded her in death. Services for Mrs. Fleming will be held Graveside, Saturday, 10:00 A.M, at Bell Cemetery in Palestine. After the service, friends and family are invited to the Palestine Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. David Malone was born March 13, 1945 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Marcus Allen and Martha Verona Plunk Malone. He was united in marriage to Christine Petty on May 25, 1985. David graduated from Bethel Springs High School. He worked in different garment manufacturing facilities as a sewing machine mechanic for 40 years before attending the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Crump, where he earned a certification in HVAC repair. David went on to operate his own HVAC business for several years before retiring. Hunting, fishing, and working on his farm at Bethel Springs were among his favorite activities. David was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Tennessee Vols. He could fix anything and enjoyed helping others. David was a member of the Dyers Chapel church of Christ near Lexington. David departed this life on November 28, 2023 in Lexington, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 8 Months, 15 Days. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Christine (Petty) Malone of Lexington, TN; two daughters, Susan Howie and husband Tim and Charity Bowman and husband Forrest; a son, Mark Malone and wife Hailey; a stepdaughter, Amanda Cagle and husband Darrell; a stepson, Jason Harris and wife Julie; eleven grandchildren: Mitchell Howie and wife Maggie, Matthew Howie, MaryAlice Bowman, Brooks Bowman, Parker Malone, Bodhi Malone, Haven Cagle, Madison Cagle, Ethan Cagle, Kate Harris, and Ava Jane Harris; one great-granddaughter on the way, Maisy Jean Howie; and many extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Sue Malone; a brother, Dorsey Allen Malone; and a great-grandchild, Rhylin Lee Bruce.

Jackie Don Little born June 11, 1936 to the late Liles B. "Jack" and Ruie Phillips Little departed this life October 25, 2023 in Lexington, Tennessee. On October 15, 1960, he was united in marriage to Ann Blankenship, who precedes him in death. Don served his country proudly in the United States Army. Born and raised in Sardis, Tennessee, Don was a hard worker who loved gardening, taking care of his Muscadines, spending time drinking coffee at the Sardis Cafe, but loved spending time with his family which he loved dearly. Although he had no children, he leaves behind a family that will cherish his memory, which include his nieces, Sherron Northcutt, Deborah Polk (Danny), Kelley Morris, Donna Shannon (Larry), Lila Smith, Leah Giesler (Dave), Hailey LeBlanc (Tommy); nephews, Randy White (Redonna), Roger White (Susie), Tim Little (Debbie) and Jamie Little; a host of great and great great nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Other than his wife and parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Mackie White; brothers, Wayne Little, Neil Little, Phillip Little, and Teddy Ward Little; and one great nephew, Ben Polk.

Becky was born on February 6, 1960, in Brownsville, TN to Macon and Mary Lou Mathias, Sr. She worked as a cook for the Latham’s Meat Market. She loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Brandy Dorris (Michael); two brothers, Terry Mathias and Macon Mathias, Jr. ; one sister, Carolyn Cook (Howard); seven grandchildren, Tyler Robertson (Olivia), Victoria Dorris, Aubree Dorris, Luke Dorris, Bristol Dorris, Xane Coatney, and Miah Coatney; one great-grandchild, Tatum Robertson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Sanders; one son, Bradley Benard; her parents, Macon Leroy Mathias, Sr. and Mary Lou Byrd Mathias; two brothers, Eddie Mathias and Jerry Mathias and one sister, Abby Cook. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Philbrick; and her brothers, Joe Brundige and Jerry Brundige. Shelby is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Jim Denison; her children, Mike Denison (Teresa), Deanna Bayard (Max), Darlene Lemmon (Roy), Mitch Denison (Terri), Denise Herndon (Mark); 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Woody Brundige (Faye).
