"Jimmie Lee Keys was born on March 24, 1952, to the union of Jeff and Ruth Keys. As a child, he attended Lloyd Street School, and received his formal education at Rufus King High School. On August 29, 1970, Jimmie united in holy matrimony with Dollie Jo Jackson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He enlisted into the United States Army in 1970, where he served as a paratrooper and sergeant E5 until he was honorably discharged. Jimmie was employed by Kohls Foods and worked as a journeyman machine repairman at Seidel Tannery and Pfister \u0026amp; Vogel Tanning Corporation until his retirement. In his leisure, he enjoyed watching CNN News, judge shows, and mystery/crime shows. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Jimmie Lee Keys departed this life on February 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his: parents, Jeff and Ruth Keys; son, Jeffrey William Keys Sr.; brothers, Jeff Keys Jr. and Robert Keys; and sister, Lonia Lisa Keys. Jimmie will forever be missed by those he left behind, but never forgotten. Proud grandmother of Anni (Matthew) Burger, Dori Kate Evanoff and Megan Pirtle, and great grandmother of Arianna Spezza, Daphne Burger and Ashton Burger. Further survived by her lifelong best friend June Acheson, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Sonie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wayne McFadden in February 2011. Further preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Betty (the late Russell) Tschohl, Dorothy Dixon, Charles Williams, and Ronald Williams. Sonie was a lifelong resident of South Milwaukee and a graduate of South Milwaukee High School. She was employed by Bucyrus-Erie and Gimbels. She was a longtime, devoted member of the South Milwaukee United Methodist Church where she served as a choir member, trustee, bookkeeper and held various other volunteer roles. She was an avid quilter, sewer, crafter, painter, cook and baker. Please join the family on March 2, 2024 at South Milwaukee United Methodist Church, 1327 Marshall Ave. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Memorial Service at 11am, followed by a luncheon. Daniel Aloysius Mooney of Lake Geneva, WI, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away suddenly on February 17, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.Dan was born in Chicago on April 14, 1949, to Charles W. Mooney, Sr. and Collette Strong Mooney. Growing up in the Budlong Woods and Lincoln Square neighborhoods, he attended Amundsen High School and graduated from Lane Tech High School. He worked for Walgreens for over 25 years, starting as a stock boy and moving up to district management. He later became a realtor specializing in homes on the north side of the city. He spent his last several years in semi-retirement in Lake Geneva, where he and his wife own and operate The Owl Tavern.A lifelong White Sox and Bears fan, Dan relished spending time with friends and family “holding court” with numerous tales of his Walgreens days. He adored his daughters and grandchildren and was very proud of them.Dan is survived by his wife, Robin; daughters Jennifer (William) Davis and Kiley (Alexander) Stojanoff; grandchildren Emaleigh, Colten, Nolan, and Karoline; sister Deborah (Larry) Abbott; brothers John Rusten and Timothy Heitzman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Collette “Pat” Mooney and brother Charles W. Mooney, Jr.A Celebration of Life will be held at the Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N.
