Clarence Hall, age 87, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Marshall Medical Center. Clarence was born April 30, 1936, in Dry Creek, Kentucky, to the late Elijah and Lona Caudill Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sykes Hall in 2021, five sisters, and one brother. He was a veteran of the United States Army. For most of his career, he was a Tool Maker for General Motors. He especially enjoyed bluegrass music and put his love of music into owning and managing Lewisburg Music Shop in the 90's. He is survived by three sons, Gregory (Mary) Hall of LaSalle, Michigan, Robert Collier of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Nathaniel (Danielle) Collier of Lewisburg, Tennessee; "adopted" son Mike Barker of Lewisburg, Tennessee; grandchildren, Travis Hall, Ronald Collier, Dawson Collier, and Mariellyn Collier; sister Nadine (Ed) Thornsberry of Kentucky; brothers, Freddie (Tunnie) Hall of Ohio, Russell Hall of Kentucky, and Lawrence Hall of Illinois as well as multiple nieces and nephews. Burial of his cremains will be held at a later date at Lone Oak Cemetery. London Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.

Mr. Phillip Ray Marsh, age 75, of Lewisburg, TN, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Lewisburg, TN and was a son of the late Houston Edwin Marsh and Helen Virginia Fagan Marsh. Phil proudly served our country in the United States Army and was a graduate of the Class of 1965 at Marshall County High School. He was retired from the Heil Quaker Corporation as an inspector with over 35 years of service. Mr. Phil loved to paint artwork and create drawings. He had a passion for reading. He found great joy in trips to the lake, going fishing, and riding around. Mr. Marsh is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Barbara Leverette Marsh of Lewisburg, TN; children, Joe Marsh of Unionville, TN, Eric Marsh of Lewisburg, TN; 9 grandchildren, Kayla Marsh, Joelyn Marsh, Blake Marsh, Brooklyn Marsh, Summer Marsh, Serenity DeMay, Dakota Blake, Sarah Jett, Tessa Marsh; 6 great grandchildren, Lucy Raye Chilton, Avery Blake, M. J. Blake, Bella Jett, Ryan Jett, Elliot Marsh; brother, Garry (Shirley) Marsh of Lewisburg, TN. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 10 AM until 11 AM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 11, 2023, at 11 AM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community in Bedford County, TN. Geneva Kathleen Tidwell Pollock, age 84, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at NHC Oakwood. She was born February 19th, 1939, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to the late James and Ida Clifton Tidwell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, feeding birds and animals, sewing, and traveling with her husband listening to bluegrass. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Rayford Pollock; a daughter, Rebecca Pollock, and sisters, Rosa Mae Harris and Hazel Lovell. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Chumbley of Lewisburg; three sons, Gerald D. (Malinda) Pollock, Wendell (Junette) Pollock and William Eugene Pollock all of Lewisburg; two sisters, Pauline Bradley of Murfreesboro and Dorothy Tidwell of Kentucky; a brother, Everett Tidwell of Lawrenceburg; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Elizabeth Beckman Jobe, age 105, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at her home in Village Manor. She was born November 17th, 1918 in Williamson County, to the late James Elmer and Eppie Anthony Beckman. She was a retired educator serving for 35 years and was a member of the Lewisburg First United Methodist Church since 1943. She began her career in a three teacher school in Flowertown, Coffee County, from 1938-1939 teaching grades 1-3. For two years, she taught 3rd and 4th and one year, 5th and 6th grades at Normandy School in Bedford County from 1947-1950. The remaining thirty one years, from 1950, until retirement in 1981, she taught fifth grade for fifteen years, third grade for three years, and was librarian for six years at McCord School. For seven years, she served as librarian for McCord and Hardison Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Herman Jobe, one son, James Neill (Cherie) Jobe, brothers, Stanley (Dorothy) Beckman, Ralph (Annarene) Beckman, one son-in-law, Joe B. Brandon. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Jobe Brandon of Lewisburg, grandchildren, Deana (Jon) Wildish, and James Neill Jobe Jr. , both of Murfreesboro, Joey (Margo) Brandon of Cornersville, and Nathan (Amy) Brandon of Brentwood, great grandchildren, Nicole (Jayce) Pickle, and Ben Brandon, both of Lewisburg, Abby Brandon of Nashville, Anna Lynne Brandon of Washington D. C. , Madison Wildish Nelson Wildish, and James Dean Jobe, all of Murfreesboro, great great grandchildren, Colin Pickle, Morgan Pickle, and Tatum Pickle. Paul Nasheda Ewing was born April 28, 1954 to the late Gwendolyn Ethelene Ewing. He entered into his Eternal Rest on Tuesday November 28, 2023. Paul loved the Lord he was a member of the Relentless Church. He loved taking care of his family and being a help to anyone in need. Clearly loved by his family and friends, Paul left a residue wherever he went. He had a servant’s heart and always ready to serve God’s people. Paul traveled the world through his military career for 23 years. He served his country and fought during The Desert Storm War in Saudi Arabia. He loved football, especially his Dallas Cowboys. No matter what anybody said about the Cowboys. He was a "Die Hard Dallas Cowboy Fan. " Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Ewing; father, Earsel Smith; brother, Al Ewing; Grandfather Toni Ewing; mother-in-law, Lacy Mai Morris. He could often be found singing his heart out at karaoke nights. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, finding solace and tranquility in nature's embrace. Sports held a special place in Eddie's heart, and he was an enthusiastic fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and has been a fan of the Oakland Raiders since day one. Regardless of the team's performance, his unwavering support remained steadfast throughout the years. While Eddie's interests and accomplishments were diverse, his greatest love was his family. Sally Marie Williams Curtis, a beloved mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, at the age of 91. Born on May 8, 1932, to William David and Lucindy Ashford Williams. Sally lived a full and vibrant life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 12:00 PM and continue until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM with burial following at Round Hill Cemetery. Sally is preceded by her husbands; Joe McCool and Howard Curtis, parents; her brothers; Jim Williams, Houston Williams, Virgil Williams; her sisters, Rosie Thomason, Nancy King, Edna Mae Cheeves, Polly Johnson, and Lottie Crabtree; and grandson, Wayne Curtis. Known for her outgoing personality and spunky nature, Sally possessed an infectious zest for life. Her presence would light up any room she entered, filling it with laughter and joy. Sally had a variety of interests that brought her tremendous happiness. She had an affinity for classic television shows, particularly the Rifleman, Three Stooges, and keeping up with the latest news. Television provided her with countless hours of entertainment and served as a window into the world beyond her own. Born into humble beginnings, Sally experienced the hardships of her time, including picking cotton as a child. These experiences shaped her into a strong, resilient individual, always appreciative of life's simple blessings. Sally dedicated herself to caring for others as a nurse aide at Gordon's hospital, touching the lives of countless patients with her warmth and compassion. Later in life, she embarked on a new adventure and ran her own daycare, bringing laughter and kindness into the lives of the children she nurtured.
