Clarence Chinault Obituary

Clarence Thomas Chinault, of Dublin passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Radford Health and Rehab Center in Radford, Virginia after a prolonged illness. He was born June 20, 1936 in Dublin. He was the son of the late Lawrence Roosevelt Chinault & Malissa Hattie Keister Chinault. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Susan Burcham Chinault, his brothers, Lawrence "Teddy" Roosevelt Chinault, Robert Kent Chinault, Sr. , and sister, Evelyn Josephine Sutphin. Clarence was a friend to all in Dublin and once served as the Grand Marshall of the Dublin Christmas Parade. He walked the streets of Dublin with a wave and greeting to all who passed. He served in the United States Army. Family and friends who survive and cherish his memory are brother - Raymond Elwood Chinault, Dublin, beloved friend - R. F. Pruitt, Dublin, sisters-in law - Bessie Burcham Tickle, Draper, Gerri Burcham Collins, Wytheville, Audie Wyatt Chinault, Pulaski and Evelyn M. East.
