Cindy Zhang Obituary

"Cindy Zhang, age 50, of Old Bridge, NJ, passed away on April 21st, 2023. Cindy was born on March 7, 1973, to ZuYing Zhang and Yun Chen in Shanghai, China. She came to America at age 19 where she worked hard to earn a GED and learn English. She went on to study Registered Nursing at New York City Technical College. After graduating, she worked at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in various departments as a Registered Nurse for about 16 years before leaving. While she worked at the hospital she also continued her nursing education and graduated from Walden University with both a BASc in Registered Nursing and then a Masters of Science in Nursing and earned her AANPCB certification in Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. In 2018, she began to work under IDCare, helping through the Pandemic. She befriended many coworkers throughout her career and was known to put others\u0027 needs first. She is survived by her husband, Peter Sung, and her daughters, Kristina Sung and Katherine Sung.
