Grover -- Shane McEntire, 40, of 308 M. H. Camp Highway, passed away on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, at Atrium Health Charlotte. Born in Lincoln County, North Carolina, he was the son of Steve Allen McEntire and the late Jane Crumpton McSwain. In additon to his father, surviving Mr. McEntire are his daughter, Courtney McEntire (Todd Cannon) of Clinton; his son, Cody McEntire, of Grover; his brothers, Allen McEntire, Dale McSwain, and Casey Hull, all of Blacksburg, Daniel McSwain of Shelby, and Michael Long (Madison) of Grover; his maternal grandmother, Jean Crumpton of Cherryville, and special mother and father, Michael and Nancy Long of Grover. Mr. McEntire was preceded in death by his mother, Jane McSwain. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 5:00 pm.
