James Garner Brown III "Chip", 64, of Mint Hill, NC entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
Chip was a daredevil. He never seemed to know the feeling of fear. He was passionate about motorcycles, his hot rod mustang, his Harley Davidson truck, and his boats. But don't be fooled by his big boy toys, as Chip also loved the luxury of his Suburban LTZ.
Chip had a natural charismatic personality and could make friends with anyone no matter the situation. His laugh was so infectious it could change the energy in the room. He was the life of the party!
Chip's newfound joy in life was being a "PaPa" to his only grandchild, Jaxon. They enjoyed playing ball together, fun on the beach and long walks with his radio flyer.
A close second to Jaxon was "Baby Bear", Chip's 6 year old German Shepherd who never left his side.
Left to cherish Chip's memory is his beloved wife, Karen Kisiah Brown of the home; his only child, Brandon (Laura) Brown of Greensboro, NC; grandson, Jaxon Brown; parents, Jimmy and Barbara Brown of Mint Hill, NC; a brother, Craig (Lisa) Brown of Ft Pierce, FL; a sister, Crystal (David) Snow of Matthews, NC; nephews, Josh and Jeremy Snow of Matthews, NC, Jake (Katelyn) Snow of Monroe, NC; great-nieces Cooper and Cove Snow; great-nephew, Waylon Snow; his best friend, "Baby Bear", of the home; as well as many close friends.
Chip is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Kim Kisiah, and nephew, Alex Craig Brown.
A special thanks to the nursing staff at Atrium Health Carolina's Medical Center for the kindness, loving care and critical response given to Chip during his stay.
Out of respect for Chip's wishes, there will not be a memorial service.
