Christine Swadlo Dobronz Age 75 Of Pittsburgh On Tuesday September 5, 2023 Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bobby) Dobronz. Cherished mother of Jodi (Mark) Bakowski and Robin Evans Cook. Adored and much loved Mimi to Caitlin Dobronz. Jamie Brunner, Kevin Bakowski, Mia Judalang, Matthew Bakowski, Cameran "Cami" Evans and Aleksah Cook. Daughter of the late Michael (Skippy) and Margaret (Peggy) Swadlo. Sister of the late Michael and surviving spouse Sandra Swadlo. Sister-in-law to Alfred Dobronz (Tim Beasor), the late Amee Zeppieri and surviving spouse Ron (Zip). Aunt to nieces Heidi (Tom) Zeppieri, Carla (Scott) Brandt, Chrissy Zeppieri and Elaina Tkaczenko. Loved by Dee Frederick. Mother-in-law to Jason Cook. Bonus Mimi to Jason Evans, Deanna Labby, Lilah Evans, Delaney Evans and Aiden Strong. Cherished fur mom of Nora, Bandit and Gidget. Chris was a seamstress and created beautiful costumes, dresses and gowns for many dancers, brides, bridesmaids and prom goers. Although she hated doing alterations, she did thousands of them over the years. Chris loved the sound of the ocean. She spent her summers surrounded by her family and friends in Cocoa Beach. Her husband played on multiple softball teams and she kept score for every game. She'd yell "hit the damn ball" and then yell at the guys for running so many bases and making her do more work in the book. She and her husband supported all of their team's sponsors which led to her hopping behind the bar one day 40 plus years ago and bartending literally up until September 1st. She loved her nights working behind the bar and hanging out with regulars at Legends (Tipper Inn) who became her 2nd family. It was here that she found her love for karaoke. She sang every Friday night with her granddaughter Caitlin who was also her best friend. Chris supported all of her grandchildren's many sports and interests ranging from cheerleading, musicals, swim meets, hockey games, softball games, baseball games, open houses, fundraisers and graduations. She was always on the go, could never pass up a Chinese Auction or the psychic fair. Chris often talked about her summers as a child at Canadohta Lake, the Hammy dances in the Rocks and hanging with her cousins when she was younger. There were lots of pool parties, Tipper picnics and dances at St Canice that the entire softball family attended. She lived a very fulfilled life up until her husband passed and is probably extremely happy to finally be reunited with him. Although we are unsure of what time she crossed over we know it was definitely in time for Days of Our Lives. We will miss her snort when she laughs, her scrunched up face when she jokingly threatened you, Fall craft show outings, hoagie dip, "lupties" and most of all her "love you much". Family and friends are welcome on Sunday September 17th, 2023 from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Szal Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Helen Street McKees Rocks. A short informal service will be held at 7:30 pm Sunday Evening. Additional viewing will be on on Monday September 18th, 2023 from 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm followed a remembrance service. The Inurnment will be held at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Michele was the beloved daughter of James and Flora Berry. In 1988, Michele married her devoted husband, Robert, and together they built a life filled with love and happiness. Their two children, Nicole and Nicholas, brought immeasurable joy to Michele's life. Her greatest happiness was her granddaughter, Luna Rae Florio. Her niece, Allison Berry, was like a second daughter to her. Michele's life was unexpectedly cut short due to complications of cancer. She showed hope, faith, and courage in the face of adversity. Her family finds comfort that she did not have to endure years of pain and suffering. She leaves behind her spouse, Robert, and their children, Nicole (spouse Dominick Florio) and Nicholas. She also leaves behind her precious granddaughter, Luna, who knew her as Mimi. She is survived by her nine living siblings, mother-in-law, three brother- and sister-in-laws, and dozens of nieces and nephews. Michele's memory will forever be cherished by her loving family, and she is now with her departed siblings, parents, and beloved grandpap William J. Berry and beloved father-in-law, Raymond Bennett. In the wake of Michele's passing, may we find solace in the memories we shared and the legacy she leaves behind. We are comforted that she departed on the birthday of her mother, Flora. Those that knew Michele knew her humor, her honesty, and what a giving and loving heart she had. In turn, Michele touched the hearts and lives of many that will never be forgotten. Dorothy Cillo

Dorothy Cillo

Age - 93

Obituary: Dorothy "Dolly" E. (Rotondi) Cillo "My God will fully supply whatever you need in accord with his glorious riches in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 4:19) describes the full life of Dorothy "Dolly" Cillo. Dolly, originally from Williamsport, PA knew and embraced the riches of Christ's supply each day of her life. The daughter of Phillip and Rose Rotondi, Dolly, the youngest of four children, though petite in stature, lived a tall life rich in grace for 93 years. She knew the origins of her sustenance trusting always in the God who provides. The God who provided her with a beautiful marriage to her late husband, Anthony Cillo, and three children whom she embraced as personal blessings from her God who supplies, Philip (Monica) Cillo, the late Revered Father David M. Cillo, and Mary Ann (Deacon Joseph) Compomizzi, all who dedicated their lives in service to others. A talented Italian cook and baker, Dolly shared the riches of these gifts with family, neighbors and friends as her specialties of zucchini fritters, Easter pies, pecan tassies, bundt cakes, pasta, meatballs, stuffed artichokes and so many more delectables even to the tasting pleasure of Pittsburgh Pirate Bill Mazerowski who dined at the supply of her table. As a hairdresser, she again shared what her Lord had given her, making women's lives more beautiful. Most of all, Dolly cherished her time just being with people especially her grandson, Immanuel Antonio Compomizzi, providing him with cooking lessons, poker lessons, baking lessons, and the most important lessons of faith and family. On Saturday, October 14th, Jesus one last time in this earthy life supplied and called Dolly home peacefully. Dolly was preceded in death by her siblings Anthony Rotondi, Theresa Dingler and Mary Pagnotto who welcome her now to glory. She will be missed by so many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends and particularly Biagio Shipman for whom she became lovingly, "Grandma-D". Visitation is Wednesday, October 18th from 9:00-10:00 a. m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Church (Greentree) with a funeral liturgy immediately following. Family and friends wishing to attend the luncheon reception are asked to reply by Tuesday, October 17th to the Google RSVP Form: https://forms. gle/KHG19dTagGES1tiS8.Show more
